Abstract

La présente invention concerne une composition comprenant au moins 99,5% en poids d’un composé iodofluorocarbure A et au plus 0,5% en poids d’au moins un composé B choisi parmi l’eau, HF, HI, IF5, I2, O2, CO2, CO et l’azote ; ledit composé iodofluorocarbure A étant de formule (I) (R1)(R2)C(I)(R3) ou de formule (II) (R1)(R2)C=C(I)(R3) ; dans laquelle dans laquelle R1, R2 et R3 sont indépendamment les uns des autres sélectionnés parmi le groupe consistant en H, F, I, un radical alkyle en C1-C10 optionnellement substitué par au moins un atome de fluor ou d’iode, un radical cycloalkyle en C3-C10 optionnellement substitué par au moins un atome de fluor ou d’iode, un radical alkényle en C2-C10 optionnellement substitué par au moins un atome de fluor ou d’iode, un radical cycloalkényle en C3-C10 optionnellement substitué par au moins un atome de fluor ou d’iode, et un radical aryle en C6-C10 optionnellement substitué par au moins un atome de fluor ou d’iode ; à condition qu’au moins un des substituants R1, R2 ou R3 soit F ou soit un radical tel que défini ci-dessus comportant au moins un atome de fluor.
