Abstract

L’invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de détermination d’une vitesse réglementaire applicable sur la portion de route sur laquelle circule un véhicule (10). A cet effet, le véhicule (10) transmet via une liaison sans fil une requête à destination d’un dispositif de traitement de données distant (101). La requête comprend la position courante du véhicule (10), une telle position étant par exemple déterminée par le véhicule (10) via un système de géolocalisation embarqué de type GPS. Le véhicule reçoit en retour du dispositif de traitement de données distant (101) une première vitesse réglementaire que le dispositif de traitement de données distant a déterminé à partir de données de cartographie et de la position courante du véhicule (10) comprise dans la requête.
