Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de contrôle (4) d’un volet arrière (6) d’un véhicule (2). Le procédé, mis en œuvre par un dispositif de contrôle (4), comprend : en réponse à une première commande d’ouverture (CMD1a) du volet arrière (6) reçue à un premier instant, activation d’un capteur radar (8) du véhicule (6) pour déterminer si un obstacle risque d’entrer en collision avec le volet arrière (6) en cas d’ouverture ; sur détection d’une défaillance du capteur radar (8), mise en attente de la première commande d’ouverture (CMD1a) ; et contrôle du volet arrière (6) au cours duquel, si une deuxième commande d’ouverture (CMD1b) du volet arrière (6) est reçue avant expiration d’un délai d’attente à compter du premier instant, fin de la mise en attente et déclenchement de l’ouverture du volet arrière (6).
