Appareil de cuisson, comprenant :- un boîtier (10),- des moyens d’acquisition d’une épaisseur d’un aliment à cuire,- un premier type de plaque de cuisson,- des moyens de cuisson, configurés pour mettre en œuvre au moins un programme de cuisson spécifique en fonction d’une épaisseur à cuire,- au moins un deuxième type de plaque de cuisson,caractérisé :- en ce que ledit au moins un deuxième type de plaque de cuisson comprend au moins une empreinte en creux, - et en ce que, pour cuire un aliment avec le deuxième type de plaque de cuisson, les moyens de cuisson sont configurés pour mettre en œuvre le même programme de cuisson spécifique en fonction de l’épaisseur du deuxième aliment à cuire corrigée de la profondeur d’empreinte prédéterminée.
