L’invention porte sur système de télécommunication optique (1) en espace libre comprenant un télescope (T) présentant un objectif (O) pour collecter un rayonnement lumineux incident (I) et produire, au niveau d’un port optique (P), un premier rayonnement lumineux (I1) ; un dispositif de traitement optique et au moins un guide d’onde multimode (F) à maintien de polarisation présentant une première extrémité couplée au port optique (P) du télescope (T) et une seconde extrémité couplée au dispositif de traitement optique (DR).
