Abstract
L’invention concerne un procédé de production d’une solution aqueuse de 5-hydroxyméthylfurfural (5-HMF), comprenant successivement a) une mise en contact de d’une charge (1) contenant du 5-HMF et un solvant de synthèse polaire aprotique avec un flux aqueux, b) une extraction liquide-liquide avec un solvant d’extraction organique suivie d’une étape de contre-lavage c) par un solvant aqueux pour obtenir un raffinat organique riche en 5-HMF et en solvant. Le raffinat organique, éventuellement concentré, est ensuite soumis à une étape d’hydrodistillation e) pour obtenir une solution aqueuse de 5-HMF. Une étape f) de séparation liquide-solide d’une fraction de particules solides formée par des humines précipitées et présente au sein du raffinat aqueux (5) issu de l’étape b) et/ou d’un flux liquide intermédiaire (19) issu de l’étape b) est réalisée. Le raffinat aqueux issu de l’étape b) d’extraction liquide-liquide, débarrassé des humines précipitées, est traité dans une étape g) de traitement de mélanges eau-solvant de synthèse polaire aprotique.
