Abstract

L’invention concerne un élastomère diénique, lequel élastomère diénique est un copolymère de 1,3-butadiène et de styrène et est fonctionnalisé par des groupes imidazole pendants, l’élastomère diénique contenant des unités butadiène à enchaînement 1,4-trans et des unités butadiène à enchaînement 1,2 représentant respectivement plus de 70% en mole des unités butadiène de l’élastomère diénique et moins de 10% en mole des unités butadiène de l’élastomère diénique. L’élastomère diénique confère à une composition de caoutchouc, notamment pour une bande de roulement pour pneumatique, d’excellentes propriétés de résistance à la propagation de fissure.
