Abstract

H σύνδεσις σωλήνων συνίσταται εκ τινος χιτωνίου (2) περιβάλλοντος θάλαμον υποδοχής (3) δια την υποδοχήν επιστομίου (5). Εις στυπιοθλίπτης (9) επεκτείνεται εντός του θαλάμου υποδοχής (3) έναντι του οπισθίου άκρου (12) του στεγανοποιητικού δακτυλίου (7). Η αξονική κίνησις του στυπιοθλίπτου (9) ωθεί τον στεγανοποιητικόν δακτύλιον (7) και προκαλεί το άνω τμήμα εισόδου (14) του στεγανοποιητικού δακτυλίου (7) να εκτραπή ακτινοειδώς εσωτερικώς συνεπεία της εσωτερικής κατανομής του περιβλήματος (2) έναντι της εξωτερικής επιφανείας του επιστομίου ή του άκρου του σωλήνος (5), διαμορφουμένης ούτω μιας στεγανοποιητικής διατάξεως. Το τμήμα οπισθίου άκρου (12) του στεγανοποιητικού δακτυλίου (7) διατηρεί ουσιαστικώς την αυτήν ακτινοειδή θέσιν εις την υποδοχήν (3). ω
