Abstract

'Αλατα της πενταμιδίνης, διαμορφώσεις που περιέχουν τέτοια άλατα και η χρήση τέτοιων αλάτων για την θεραπευτική ή προφυλακτική αγωγή του PNEUMOCYSTIS CARINII. Η γλυκονική και γαλακτική πενταμιδίνη ανεκαλύφθησαν και ευρέθησαν ότι έχουν μεγάλη διαλυτότητα εις ύδωρ ενώ παρέχουν δυναμικώς ολιγώτερο τοξικές εναλλακτικές λύσεις της ισεθειονικής πενταμιδίνης, ιδίως για χορήγηση υπό μορφή αερολύματος σε ασθενείς πάσχοντες από σύνδρομο επίκτητης ανοσολογικής ανεπάρκειας, AIDS ή σύνδρομο σχετιζόμενο με το AIDS, ARC. ω
