Abstract

Περιγράφεται μία δομή στηρίξεως ποδιού, που στερεώνεται σε ένα υπόδημα έτσι ώστε να παρέχεται στήριξις στο μεσαίο τόξο (καμάρα) ενός ποδιού κατά την διαμήκη διεύθυνση, ενώ δρα σαν βοήθημα στην διαμήκη πολυεδρική ζώνη, στους συνδέσμους και στους τένοντες του ποδιού. Η δομή περιλαμβάνει μία ταινία λουριού που είναι πολύ αποτελεσματική όταν χρησιμοποιείται με μία σχετικά εύκαμπτη εξωτερική σόλα και αγκυρώνεται σ' αυτήν. Στην μεσαία πλευρά του ποδιού, το λουρί σύρεται από ένα σημείο ακριβώς μπροστά από την πρώτη μετατάρσια κεφαλή. Στην πλάγια πλευρά, το λουρί σύρεται από ένα σημείο γειτονικό προς το οπίσθιο τμήμα του πέμπτου μετατάρσιου (οστού). Το λουρί μπορεί επίσης να αγκυρώνεται σε εγκάρσια στοιχεία του υποδήματος στην περιοχή του μέσου ποδιού.
