Abstract
Αντανακλαστικό αντικείμενο, όπως ένας καθρέπτης, περιλαμβάνει αντανακλαστικό μεταλλικό επίχρισμα που έχει εναποτεθεί επί υάλινου υποστρώματος. Με σκοπό την προστασία αυτού του μεταλλικού επιχρίσματος, όταν περιλαμβάνει αντανακλαστική στρώση αργύρου, το επίχρισμα αυτό έχει υποστεί κατεργασία με οξυνισμένο υδατικό διάλυμα άλατος δισθενούς κασσιτέρου, και το οποίο διάλυμα είναι απαλλαγμένο θολότητας, για την αύξηση του πληθυσμού των ατόμων κασσιτέρου σε επιφανειακό στρώμα της εν λόγω μεταλλικής στρώσης. Ειδικώτερα, ένα τέτοιο μεταλλικό επίχρισμα περιλαμβάνει αντανακλαστική στρώση αργύρου και έχει επιφανειακό στρώμα το οποίο έχει πληθυσμό ατόμων κασσιτέρου (εάν υπάρχουν) σε υποκείμενο, κάτω της επιφανείας, στρώμα κατά ένα τουλάχιστον άτομο κασσιτέρου ανά εκατό άτομα μετάλλου, προσδίδοντας έτσι σε ένα τέτοιο μεταλλικό επίχρισμα, αυξημένη αντίσταση στην διάβρωση. Μέθοδος κατασκευής αντανακλαστικού αντικειμένου, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει αντανακλαστικό μεταλλικό επίχρισμα που έχει εναποτεθεί επί υαλίνου υποστρώματος, περιλαμβάνει τα εξής στάδια: σχηματισμό μεταλλικού επιχρίσματος που περιλαμβάνει αντανακλαστική στρώση αργύρου επί επιφανείας του υποστρώματος, επαφή του μεταλλικού επιχρίσματος με προσφάτως παρασκευασθέν οξυνισμένο υδατικό διάλυμα κατεργασίας άλατος δισθενούς κασσιτέρου για την αύξηση του πληθυσμού των ατόμων του κασσιτέρου σε επιφανειακό στρώμα της εν λόγω μεταλλικής στρώσης, και όπου το εν λόγω διάλυμα είναι απαλλαγμένο θολότητας, και πλύσιμο και στέγνωμα του μεταλλικού επιχρίσματος που υφίσταται κατεργασία με τον τρόπο αυτόν. ω
