Η εφεύρεση αυτή αναφέρεται, στην ισχυρή αντιμυκητιακή και αντιβακτηριακή δράση, του εξαγομένου από τα φύλλα, κλαδιά και καρπό της Μαστίχας Χίου, Μαστιχέλαιου, που προέκυψαν από χρωματογραφική ανάλυση εναντίον των βακτηρίων staphylococcus aureus (atcc25923), staphylococcus epidermidis (atcc 12228) των 4-gramm-Negative βακτηρίων : Estherichia coli (atcc25922), Enetrobacter cloacae (atcc 13047), Klebsiella pneumoniae (atcc13883) και Pseudomonas aerugininosa (atcc227853) Και των μηκύτων : Candida albicans, Candida tropicalis και Torulopsis glabrata.Η ισχυρότατη αυτή Φαρμακολογική δράση, καθιστά το Μαστιχέλαιο χρήσιμο για την καταπολέμηση της λιπαρότητας, πιτυρίδας, εκζεμάτων, αντισηπτικό, κατά της ακμής, κατά της ουλίτιδας και της οδοντικής πλάκας μόνο του ή σε συνδυασμό με άλλα δραστικά φάρμακα ή σε διάφορες καλλυντικές-φαρμακοτεχνικές μορφές όπως : κρέμες προσώπου, σώματος, αντιηλιακά, οδοντόκρεμες, οδοντότσικλες, οδοντικά διαλύματα, κλωστών καθαρισμού οδόντων, οδοντογλυφίδες εμπλουτισμένες με μαστιχέλαιο, σαμπουάν, αντισηπτικά σαπούνια, λοσιόν, γαλακτώματα, κρέμες κατά της ακμής αφρόλουτρα, σαμπουάν κατά της πιτυρίδας, παραφαρμακευτικά σκευάσματα αντιμετώπισης καψιμάτων και εγκαυμάτων. Το Μαστιχέλαιο παρουσιάζει το πλεονέκτημα της μοναδικότητάς του, και της έλλειψης ανάπτυξης-αντοχής των παραπάνω μυκήτων και βακτηρίων.
