Claims (7)

  1. Dispositif réfléchissant comprenant :
    des première et seconde branches de guides d'ondes monomodes (14.1, 14.2), une section de guide d'ondes multimode commune (13), un premier coupleur en Y (14) couplant les première et seconde branches de guide d'ondes (14.1, 14.2) à une extrémité de la section de guide d'ondes commune (13), au moins deux bras de guide d'ondes monomodes (12.1, 12.2), un second coupleur en Y symétrique (12.3) couplant les bras de guide d'ondes (12.1, 12.2) à l'autre extrémité de la section de guide d'ondes commune (13), un dispositif de réflexion (20.1, 20.2) disposé dans chacun des bras de guide d'ondes (12.1, 12.2), ces dispositifs de réflexion (20.1, 20.2) étant conçus pour réfléchir de la lumière à au moins une longueur d'onde prédéterminée (λr), caractérisé en ce que le premier coupleur en Y (14) est adiabatique, en ce que le premier coupleur en Y (14) et les première et seconde branches de guide d'ondes (14.1, 14.2) sont conçues de façon que le mode guidé de la première branche de guide d'ondes (14.1) soit couplé à un mode symétrique de la section de guide d'ondes commune (13) et que le mode guidé de la seconde branche de guide d'ondes (14.2) soit couplé à un mode antisymétrique de la section de guide d'ondes commune (13), et en ce que les bras de guide d'ondes (12.1, 12.2) et les dispositifs de réflexion (20.1, 20.2) sont conçus de façon qu'un mode symétrique au moins à cette longueur d'onde prédéterminée (λr) dans la section de guide d'ondes commune (13), soit réfléchi vers l'arrière dans la section de guide d'ondes commune (13) en tant que mode antisymétrique, et inversement.
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, dans lequel les première et seconde branches de guide d'ondes monomodes (14.1 et 14.2) et les bras de guide d'ondes (12.1 et 12.2) comprennent des guides d'ondes à couches minces supportés par des substrats.
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, dans lequel la section commune (13) comprend des guides d'ondes monomodes physiquement séparés mais couplés optiquement (13.1 et 13.2) qui sont identiques l'un à l'autre au moins dans la région des dispositifs de réflexion (20.1, 20.2).
  4. Dispositif selon la revendication 3, dans lequel les guides d'ondes (13.1 et 13.2) comprennent de la silice.
  5. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la première branche de guide d'ondes monomode (14.1) est plus large que la seconde branche de guide d'ondes monomode (14.2).
  6. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, dans lequel les longueurs des trajets optiques des bras de guide d'ondes monomodes (12.1, 12.2) diffèrent l'une de l'autre d'environ λ/4.
  7. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6 destiné à être utilisé en tant que compensateur de dispersion pour modifier la forme d'une impulsion optique ayant des composantes de longueurs d'onde couvrant une gamme prédéterminée, dans lequel les dispositifs de réflexion (20.1, 20.2) sont conçus pour réfléchir de la lumière à plusieurs de ces longueurs d'ondes au nombre d'au moins un, à l'intérieur de cette plage prédéterminée, et
    les bras de guide d'ondes (12.1, 12.2) et les dispositifs de réflexion (20.1, 20.2) sont conçus pour que, après que l'impulsion a pénétré dans la première branche (14.1), une version modifiée de cette impulsion sorte de la seconde branche (14.2).
