Claims (22)
- Système de transmission numérique comprenant un émetteur (1) et un récepteur (5) pour transmettre un signal numérique à large bande d'une fréquence d'échantillonnage spécifique Fs, par exemple un signal audionumérique, via un moyen de transmission (4), et pour recevoir ledit signal, l'émetteur (1) ayant une borne d'entrée (2) pour recevoir le signal numérique à large bande, ladite borne d'entrée étant reliée à une entrée d'une source de signaux (39, 6) qui fait partie de l'émetteur (1) et qui est conçue pour générer un deuxième signal numérique et acheminer ledit signal à une sortie (7), ledit deuxième signal numérique comprenant des trames consécutives, chaque trame comprenant une pluralité de paquets d'informations (IP), chaque paquet d'informations comprenant N bits, N étant plus grand que 1, le récepteur (5) comprenant un décodeur comportant une entrée (10) pour recevoir le deuxième signal numérique, ledit décodeur ayant une sortie reliée à une borne de sortie (8) pour délivrer le signal numérique à large bande caractérisé en ce que, si P est un nombre entier dans la formule :
dans laquelle BR est le débit binaire du deuxième signal numérique et ns est le nombre d'échantillons du signal numérique à large bande dont les informations correspondantes, qui appartiennent au deuxième signal numérique, sont incluses dans une trame du deuxième signal numérique, le nombre B de paquets d'informations (IP) d'une trame est P, et en ce que, si P n'est pas un nombre entier, le nombre de paquets d'informations (IP) dans un certain nombre des trames est P', P' étant le nombre entier inférieur suivant immédiatement P, et le nombre de paquets d'informations (IP) des autres trames est égal à P′ + 1 de manière à se conformer exactement à l'exigence que le débit de trame moyen du deuxième signal numérique soit sensiblement égal à FS/ns et qu'une trame comprenne au moins une première partie de trame (FD1) comprenant des informations de synchronisation. - Système de transmission selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la première partie de trame (FD1) contient d'autres informations en rapport avec le nombre de paquets d'informations de la trame.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'une trame comprend ladite première partie de trame (FD1), une deuxième partie de trame (FD2) et une troisième partie de trame (FD3), la première partie de trame (FD1) comprenant, en outre, des informations sur le système et la deuxième partie de trame (FD2) et la troisième partie de trame (FD3) comprenant des informations sur les signaux.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 1, 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que, si une trame comprend P′ + 1 paquets d'informations (IP), la première partie de trame contient des informations correspondant à P' paquets d'information.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 3 ou 4, l'émetteur comprenant un codeur (3, 9) comportant des moyens de scission de signaux (3) réagissant au signal numérique à large bande pour générer un deuxième signal numérique sous la forme d'un nombre M de sous-signaux, M étant plus grand que 1, et comprenant des moyens (48) pour quantifier les sous-signaux respectifs, caractérisé en ce que la deuxième partie de trame (FD2) contient des informations d'affectation qui, pour au moins un certain nombre de sous-signaux, indiquent le nombre de bits représentant les échantillons des sous-signaux quantifiés obtenus à partir desdits sous-signaux, et en ce que la troisième partie de trame (FD3) contient les échantillons d'au moins lesdits sous-signaux quantifiés, s'ils sont présents.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 5, dans lequel les moyens de scission de signaux (3) prennent la forme de moyens de filtrage analytique réagissant au signal numérique à large bande pour générer un nombre M de signaux de sous-bandes, ces moyens de filtrage analytique divisant la bande du signal numérique à large bande, par réduction de la fréquence d'échantillonnage, en sous-bandes successives ayant des nombres de bandes m augmentant avec la fréquence, et dans lequel les moyens de quantification (48) sont à même de quantifier les signaux de sous-bandes respectives bloc par bloc, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins pour un certain nombre de signaux à sous-bandes, les informations d'affectation dans la deuxième partie de trame (FD2) spécifient le nombre de bits représentant les échantillons des signaux à sous-bandes quantifiés obtenus à partir desdits sous-signaux à sous-bandes et en ce que la troisième partie de trame (FD3) contient les échantillons d'au moins lesdits signaux à sous-bandes quantifiés, s'ils sont présents.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce qu'en outre, la troisième partie de trame (FD3) comprend des informations apparentées à des facteurs d'échelle, un facteur d'échelle étant associé à au moins un des signaux à sous-bandes quantifiés contenu dans la troisième partie de trame (FD3), et en ce que les informations sur les facteurs d'échelle sont incluses dans la troisième partie de trame (FD3) avant les signaux à sous-bandes quantifiés.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 6 ou 7, dans lequel le récepteur (5) comprend un décodeur comprenant des moyens de filtrage synthétique (21) réagissant aux signaux à sous-bandes quantifiés respectifs pour construire une réplique du signal numérique à large bande, ces moyens de filtrage synthétique (21) combinant les sous-bandes en appliquant une augmentation de la fréquence d'échantillonnage pour former la bande du signal numérique à large bande, caractérisé en ce que les échantillons des signaux à sous-bandes, s'ils sont présents, sont insérés dans la troisième partie de trame (FD3) selon une séquence correspondant à la séquence dans laquelle lesdits échantillons sont appliqués aux moyens de filtrage synthétique à la réception dans le récepteur.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que les informations d'affectation pour les divers signaux à sous-bandes quantifiés sont insérées dans la deuxième partie de trame (FD2) selon une séquence similaire.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que les informations d'échelle pour les facteurs d'échelle sont insérées dans la troisième partie de trame (FD3) selon une séquence correspondant à la séquence dans laquelle les informations d'affectation pour les signaux à sous-bandes quantifiés associés auxdits facteurs d'échelle sont incluses dans la deuxième partie de trame (FD2).
- Système de transmission selon l'une quelconque des revendications 6 à 10, dans lequel le signal numérique à large bande comprend une première composante et une deuxième composante de signal, par exemple, un signal stéréo numérique, les moyens de filtrage analytique (3) réagissant à la première composante et à la deuxième composante de signal pour générer un nombre de M signaux à sous-bandes, chaque signal à sous-bande comprenant une première composante et une deuxième composante de signal à sous-bande, les moyens étant, en outre, à même de quantifier la première composante et la deuxième composante de signal à sous-bande respectives dans une sous-bande spécifique, caractérisé en ce que la deuxième partie de trame (FD2) comprend des informations d'affectation spécifiant pour ladite sous-bande le nombre de bits représentant les échantillons de la première composante et de la deuxième composante de signal à sous-bande quantifiées dérivées de chacun des deux signaux de ladite sous-bande, et en ce que la troisième partie de trame (FD3) comprend des échantillons desdites première et deuxième composante de signal à sous-bande quantifiées, s'ils sont présents.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 11, découlant de la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que la troisième partie de trame (FD3) comprend des informations de facteurs d'échelle pour deux facteurs d'échelle pour ladite sous-bande, chaque facteur d'échelle appartenant à la première ou à la deuxième composante de signal à sous-bande quantifiée de ladite sous-bande.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 11 ou 12, découlant de la revendication 8, dans lequel les moyens de filtrage synthétique (21) réagissent aux composantes de signal à sous-bande quantifiées respectives pour construire une réplique du signal numérique à large bande comprenant la première et la deuxième composante de signal, caractérisé en ce que les échantillons des composantes de signal à sous-bande, s'ils sont présents, sont insérés dans la troisième partie de trame selon une séquence correspondant à la séquence selon laquelle les échantillons desdites composantes de signal à sous-bande sont appliqués aux moyens de filtrage synthétique lors de la réception dans le récepteur.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 13, caractérisé en ce que les informations d'affectation pour les diverses composantes de signal à sous-bande quantifiées sont insérées dans la deuxième partie de trame (FD2) selon une séquence similaire.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 14, caractérisé en ce que les informations de facteurs d'échelle pour les facteurs d'échelle sont insérées dans la troisième partie de trame (FD3) selon une séquence correspondant à la séquence selon laquelle les informations d'affectation pour la première composante et la deuxième composante de signal à sous-bande quantifiées appartenant auxdits facteurs d'échelle sont insérées dans la deuxième partie de trame (FD2) et en ce que les informations sur les facteurs d'échelle sont insérées dans la troisième partie de trame (FD3) avant les composantes de signaux à sous-bande quantifiées.
- Système de transmission selon la revendication 5, caractérisée en ce que le (P′ + 1)ième paquet d'informations ne contient pas d'informations utiles.
- Système de transmission selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que les trames comprennent une quatrième partie de trame (FD4) dans laquelle sont incluses des informations de détection d'erreurs et/ou de correction d'erreurs.
- Emetteur du système de transmission selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes.
- Emetteur selon la revendication 18, caractérisé en ce qu'il se présente sous la forme d'un dispositif pour enregistrer le deuxième signal numérique sur une piste d'un support d'enregistrement (25).
- Support d'enregistrement (25) obtenu à l'aide de l'émetteur selon la revendication 19, caractérisé en ce que le deuxième signal numérique est enregistré sur la piste.
- Récepteur du système de transmission selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 16.
- Récepteur selon la revendication 21, caractérisé en ce que le récepteur se présente sous la forme d'un dispositif pour lire le deuxième signal numérique sur une piste d'un support d'enregistrement (25).
