Abstract

Waehrend das Ziel der Erfindung in der Bereitstellung einer verschleiszfesteren Einrichtung zum Kuehlen und Spuelen der Axialdichtung fuer ein Fluegelrad von Wasserpumpen, insbesondere von Wasserpumpen fuer Brennkraftmaschinen liegt, besteht die Aufgabe darin, eine solche Kuehlung der Axialdichtung zu erreichen, dasz die unerwuenschten Dampf- und Gasblasen laufend aus dem gefaehrdeten Bereich ausgespuelt werden. Als Loesung hierzu wird nunmehr vorgeschlagen, dasz die Nabe des Fluegelrades wenigstens eine von der Druckseite zur Saugseite fuehrende, im Bereich des Auszendurchmessers des Gegenlaufringes austretende und in Richtung zum Gleitring und zur balgaehnlichen Dichtung verlaufende Kuehlbohrung aufweist.
