Abstract
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine verbesserte Wirbelschichtapparatur, insbesondere zum Granulieren pulverfoermiger Substanz. Erfindungsgemaess ist in einem Behaelter 12 ein Behandlungsraum 14 fuer Substanz 16, und darunter eine Windkammer 22 angeordnet. Die Windkammer 22 ist nach oben durch eine kreisfoermige Rotorscheibe 42 begrenzt, die um eine aufrechte zentrale Achse A drehantreibbar ist und mindestens eine langgestreckte Oeffnung 44 aufweist, die einen Gasstrom 50 von der Windkammer 22 in den Behandlungsraum 14 zulaesst. Die Rotorscheibe 42 dient als Trennwand zwischen Windkammer 22 und Behandlungsraum 14. Jeder Oeffnung 44 der Rotorscheibe 42 ist ein Verschluss zugeordnet, der im normalen Betrieb geoeffnet, zum Stillsetzen der Apparatur jedoch verschliessbar ist. Ueber der Rotorscheibe 42 ist mindestens eine Rueckhaltelamelle 98 ortsfest angeordnet, die ein Mitdrehen der auf dem Rotor 40 befindlichen Substanz verhindert. In jedem durch eine der Oeffnungen 44 hindurchgetretenen Gasstrom 50 sind, ueber dessen radiale Laenge verteilt und mit diesem bei Drehung des Rotors 40 mitrotierend, Duesen 76 zum Bespruehen der Substanz 16 im Behandlungsraum 14 angeordnet.
