Abstract

Cosmetic prepn. is obtd. from an extract of the stem and the inner bark of the sunflower plant contg. active agents and is allowed to stand for 1-4 days until fermentation bubbles appear on the surface. The fermented liq., diluted opt. with water, is boiled until forthing stops. 3-10 Wt.% of this liq. (contg. 0.2-5 solids) is mixed with customary cosmetic ingredients, in this case water to 100%.
