Abstract

1277363 Pressure sensitive adhesive coating GOODYEAR TIRE & RUBBER CO. 9 Feb 1970 [17 March 1969] 6139/70 Heading B2E [Also in Division C3] A substrate, e.g. polyester film is coated using a doctor blade with a solution of a composition comprising (a) an ABA block copolymer, the A's being non-elastomeric monovinylaromatic polymer blocks, and B is an elastomeric conjugated diene polymer block, and (b) a tackifying resin derived from C 3-10 unsaturated aliphatic or alicyclic hydrocarbons and having unsaturation therein as evidenced by an iodine number of 40 to 150, and optionally (c) a rubber processing oil and (d) fillers and antioxidants. In Examples (a) is polystyrene-polyisoprene-polystyrene and (b) is piperylene-2-methyl-2-butene copolymer. [GB1277363A]
