1338842 Packaging liquids IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 22 Nov 1972 [30 Dec 1971] 60733/71 Addition to 1302450 Heading B8C Carbonated liquids such as beer are packaged in a container formed from tubular plastics film 1 whose ends are flattened and sandwiched between first and second adhesive strips 2 and 5, each end then being folded over such that overhanging portions of strip 2 adhere to the containers and to each other at the sides. A supporting sleeve 11, as of paper, may be applied to the container, and a filling aperture 9 is provided which is closed by a sealing strip after filling. [GB1338842A]
