Abstract
A rectangular strip of flexible material/(preferably plastics) to be fixed in any one of many ways to both the door*and the door frame* covering the said gap preferably along the full height of the door. This fixing is done when the door is in the open position and in such a way that as the door is closing, the strip of flexible material should bulge away from the gap forming a curved or part cylindrical cover strip hiding this dangerous gap or opening.

The idea is to cover or hide the opening or gap on the hinged side of a door when it is opened or partially opened, preventing people getting their fingers trapped or broken within this gap. This gap will form on the opposite side to the hinge knuckles but along the same edge.
A rectangular strip of flexible material (preferably plastics) to be fixed in any one of many ways to both the door and the door frame, covering the said gap preferably along the full height of the door. Claims (1)
1. A rectangular strip of flexible material (preferably plastics) to be fixed in any one of many ways to both the door and the door frame, covering the said gap preferably along the full height of the door. This fixing is done when the door is in the open position and in such a way that as the door is closing, the strip of flexible material should bulge away from the gap forming a curved or part cylindrical cover strip hiding this dangerous gap or opening.
