Un albero a gomiti con un supporto di biella costituito almeno da un cuscinetto a rotolamento potrà essere fabbricato in modo più semplice e progettato più facilmente per il fatto che l'albero a gomiti (1) è ripartito in corrispondenza del tratto di albero (1') curvo a gomito e l'anello interno (5) del cuscinetto a rullini (6) poggia sulla superficie laterale (1") dell'albero a gomiti (1) nella zona curva a gomito (1').
