Abstract
Allo scopo di superare gli inconvenienti che si verificano durante la posa in opera delle travi metalliche disassate su pilastri in cemento armato a causa della presenza dei ferri sporgenti dai pilastri stessi, le travi metalliche di questo tipo vengono realizzate prive di parti destinate a sovrapporsi durante la posa, così che questa possa avvenire direttamente con l'impiego di gru dall'alto, senza alcun intervento manuale. Ciò si ottiene prevedendo all'estremità di ciascuna trave, in corrispondenza della parte dell'anima sporgente oltre il pilastro, un ulteriore elemento saldato di piatto, di larghezza pari alla metà di questo, dal lato più vicino all'anima stessa, cui corrisponde al termine del piatto da dove sporge la struttura reticolare dell'anima una parte mancante di uguale sezione asportata dal lato più lontano dell'anima saldata.
