Abstract

Polpa d'amido, utile particolarmente per l'impiego nella produzione di carta e cartone, è prodotta iniettando una dispersione amidacea acquosa, preparata in continuo mediante cottura a getto di una sospensione d'amido in acqua con concentrazione da 5 a 40% in peso, a temperatura da 90 a 180°C, in un flusso primario di un agente coagulante a temperatura da 20 a 100°C, con rapporto di velocità fra flusso primario e secondario maggiore di 1:30 e sottoponendo la polpa a maturazione nelle proprie acque-madri per un tempo da 1 a 4 ore a temperatura da 20 a 40°C.
