Abstract

Il migliorato sistema di pagamento per mezzo di schede magnetiche prepagate a scalare provvede, all'atto dell'erogazione di una scheda magnetica prepagata per un importo selezionabile dal cliente, a delimitare permanentemente mediante una foratura a punzone della scheda la traccia magnetica di registrazione dell'importo spendibile, al quale corrisponde una certa lunghezza del segmento registrato, e quindi ad impedire una sovrascrittura fraudolenta di un importo superiore spendibile sulla pista così delimitata dal foro prodotto all'atto dell'emissione della tessera. Un pressoché insuperabile presidio contro la falsificazione delle registrazioni di spesa è realizzata equipaggiando le stazioni di riscossione automatica di un punzone atto a produrre una serie di fori indicativi della percentuale spesa dell'intero importo spendibile ed in cui la disposizione geometrica di detti fori è stabilita da un algoritmo segreto del sistema utilizzando i dati d'emissione della singola tessera e d'organi di lettura di detti fori in modo da realizzare un controllo incrociato tra le registrazioni magnetiche e le registrazioni d'invalidazione incrementale attraverso detta serie di fori non decodificabili, ad ogni uso della tessera.
