Abstract

Catodo attivato per cella di elettrolisi cloro-soda a diaframma o a membrana, del tipo comprendente anodi e catodi intercalati e provvisti di superfici con aperture, detti catodi essendo provvisti con membrana a scambio ionico o con diaframma poroso, resistenti alla corrosione, detta cella essendo provvista con condotti per la alimentazione di salamoia fresca e per l'estrazione della soda caustica, del cloro e dell'idrogeno prodotti.Detti catodi sono costituiti da una struttura composita comprendente la struttura catodica originale delle celle e una lamiera perforata o di metallo espanso o una rete, sottili o flessibili, provviste di un rivestimento elettrocatalitico per la scarica dell'idrogeno in soluzione alcalina, detta struttura catodica e detta lamiera o rete sottili essendo collegate meccanicamente ed elettricamente tramite una molteplicità di punti di contatto.
