Metodo per la compressione di materiale polverizzato o granulare mediante una macchina comprimitrice rotativa 1, comprendente: una fase iniziale di riempimento di un vano 2 col materiale da comprimere; una fase di compattazione C, con l'applicazione di un carico graduale avente valore massimo F1; una prima fase di rilascio R1 del carico applicato; una fase di precompressione P, con l'applicazione di un carico F2; una fase di mantenimento della precompressione MP; una seconda fase di rilascio R2 del carico applicato; una fase di compressione principale CP, con l'applicazione di un carico F3 non inferiore ai precedenti carichi F1 ed F2, e una fase finale di espulsione della compressa del vano 2.
