Ammortizzatore, in particolare per macchine lavabiancheria, comprendente una bussola (11) entro cui scorre un pistone (12) provvisto di almeno un primo anello di frizione (18).Almeno un secondo anello di frizione (23) è montato scorrevole sullo stelo (16) del pistone (12) in posizione intermedia fra il primo anello di frizione (18) ed uno spallamento (20) ricavato sullo stelo (16).L'ammortizzatore secondo l'invenzione realizza frenature progressive variabili in funzione delle diverse sollecitazioni sul gruppo lavante della macchina.
