Abstract

Un dispositivo per applicare un adesivo all'involucro in una macchina per la fabbricazione di sigarette (in particolare a monte della fase di guarnizione) comprende mezzi per convogliare il foglio dell'involucro (18) lungo un percorso tra due guide (24, 26), una coppia di ugelli (28, 30) ciascuno dei quali è mobile verso e in allontanamento rispetto ad una posizione di contatto con il foglio dell'involucro, e mezzi (36) per controllare le posizioni degli ugelli in modo tale che venga portato a contatto con il foglio dell'involucro un ugello alla volta e che l'ugello non operativo si trovi in una posizione ritratta in corrispondenza della quale sono previsti mezzi (32) per rimuovere automaticamente l'adesivo da esso, la struttura essendo tale che il movimento dell'ugello così pulito verso il foglio dell'involucro venga continuato in modo da spostare il foglio dell'involucro dall'ugello precedentemente attivo, che viene quindi ritratto per la pulizia, a seguito del che l'ugello ad esso attivo viene ritratto leggermente per assumere la sua posizione operativa normale adiacente al foglio dell'involucro sul quale applicherà l'adesivo fino a che l'altro ugello, in maniera simile, non sposta il foglio da esso per consentire un'operazione di pulizia simile.
