2. Description of the Related Art An electric seat of this type is used, for example, for a driver seat on a vehicle and an adjacent seat (a front seat). A position detector is coupled to the drive mechanism, and the seat front-back position set by the seated person is stored in the memory.
Once stored in the memory, the storage location is reproduced simply by pressing the automatic setting instruction key. The position detector is, for example,
A limit switch for detecting the movement limit point of the mechanism, and a rotary encoder connected to the mechanism, and when the CPU, which is the main body of the seat attitude controller, detects the limit position by the limit switch. Then, the position data is updated to the data assigned to the limit position. For example, when the lower limit position is detected, the position data is initialized to data indicating 0, and when the upper limit position is detected, the position data is updated to indicate the upper limit position Pmax. While the mechanism is moving in the direction from the lower limit position to the upper limit position, the CPU
Counts up the movement synchronization pulse generated by the rotary encoder, and counts down during the operation of the mechanism in the reverse direction to update the position data. Normally, the drive mode
An overload detector for detecting an overcurrent of the motor is provided. If the overload detector detects an overcurrent, the mechanism drive is stopped on the assumption that a mechanism trouble or a limit position has been reached. Utilizing this, position detection that recognizes that the mechanism has reached the lower limit position and the upper limit position is also known.

When a position setting (automatic attitude setting) to a storage position is instructed, the CPU compares the held position data (current position) with the target position with the storage position of the memory as the target position. The mechanism driving direction (rotation direction of the electric motor) is determined and the mechanism is driven. When the position data reaches the target position, the mechanism driving is stopped.

[0004] In position grasping in which position data is updated by counting up / down of a movement synchronization pulse, when position data is lost due to power-off, when power-on is restored,
There is no position data. That is, the seat position is not known. Therefore, immediately after the power is turned on, when the sheet is driven in the direction toward the lower limit position (or upper limit position) to reach the lower limit position (upper limit position), the position data indicates the lower limit position (upper limit position). The position data is correctly determined by initializing the position data. Since this operation takes a long time, a nonvolatile memory is provided in the seat attitude controller, and the position data is written in the memory and saved even when the power is turned off. When the power is turned on, the position data is stored. Has been read and used as a representation of the current position of the sheet.

By the way, even when a nonvolatile memory is used, the relative timing of each of the updating of the position data, the updating and writing of the position data in the nonvolatile memory, and the turning off of the power supply is described. Depending on the relationship, the position data stored in the non-volatile memory may be incorrect. For example, when the sheet drive is started, the position data at the end of the sheet drive is written in the non-volatile memory. If the power is turned off during the sheet drive, the position data of the memory is read. Remain just before the start of the sheet driving. In order to avoid this, every time the position data changes, the position data is stored in the memory.
Even if the data is written, if the power is turned off during the sheet drive (during the counting of the movement synchronization pulse), the rotary encoder or the input circuit goes down before the operation of the mechanism stops, and the pulse count error occurs. May occur, or the writing of position data to the nonvolatile memory may not be completed normally, etc., and a shift may occur between the position data of the nonvolatile memory and the actual sheet position. is there. Further, it cannot be determined whether the data in the nonvolatile memory is normal.

Recently, there has also been proposed an automatic headrest adjustment in which a target position of a headrest is calculated from a front-back position (sliding position) of the sheet, and a vertical position of the headrest is automatically determined in accordance with the sheet position. (For example, German Utility Model No. 9421781). According to this,
When the slide position of the headrest is adjusted, the height of the headrest is linked to this, and the height appropriate for the slide position (standard value)
Therefore, the occupant only has to adjust the headrest by a small amount according to the individual body shape.

However, if the slide adjustment is performed after adjusting the height of the headrest according to the user's preference (or body shape), the adjusted headrest height changes in conjunction with the slide adjustment, and again the headrest height is changed. You have to adjust it to your liking. When the sheet is slid to search for coins dropped on the floor, the headrest is moved up and down unnecessarily. Further, when the reclining is depressed for resting and the slide is operated rearward, the headrest is raised (projected) with the rearward slide, which may interfere with a child seat or luggage of the rear seat. Therefore, there is a need for a control for automatic adjustment of the headrest, which appropriately corresponds to the mode of use of the electric sheet.

[0008] As described above, in the aspect in which the position data is stored in the non-volatile memory, the position of the non-volatile memory is restored when the power is turned on when the sheet is being driven when the power was last turned off. It is not possible to judge whether the data is normal or not, and the headrest may be automatically adjusted at the shifted position.

The first object of the present invention is to prevent the automatic adjustment of the headrest unnecessary for the user as much as possible, and to achieve the advantage without minimizing the advantage of the automatic adjustment of the headrest. This is the purpose of 2. When a non-volatile memory is used for storing position data, a third object is to enable evaluation of the reliability of the position data of the non-volatile memory, and the position data of the non-volatile memory can be evaluated. The fourth is to prevent errors in headrest automatic adjustment due to errors in

When the user does not agree with the standard heights (PBs), the user adjusts the headrest position by instructing vertical driving of the headrest by the input means (SB, SC). Then, headrest automatic adjustment is prohibited there,
Even if there is a slide drive (forward or backward drive) of the sheet in accordance with the drive instruction by the input means (SB, SC), the headrest does not move in conjunction therewith. The probability that unnecessary automatic headrest adjustment will function is reduced. At the time of readjustment of the front / rear position of the sheet after the adjustment of the vertical position of the headrest, since the headrest does not interlock with the sliding movement of the sheet, the headrest position adjustment at the end of the user is not wasted. When it is desired to readjust the headrest vertical position after the sliding movement of the sheet, a headrest driving instruction may be given by the input means (SB, SC). After the vertical adjustment of the headrest, the adjustment of the front and rear position of the seat and the adjustment of the vertical position of the headrest can be adjusted independently of each other. Position and headrest height can be set.

By the way, for example, when the present electric seat is used for a driver seat on a vehicle, the driver (seated person) may be changed. When this change is made, there is a high possibility that a sheet front-back driving instruction is given by the input means (SB, SC). At this time, if the headrest position adjustment is prohibited, the replaced seated occupant must drive the headrest up and down after driving the seat back and forth, which is inconvenient.
In the present embodiment, in order to improve this, the prohibition of the automatic adjustment of the headrest is released when the amount of front and rear driving of the sheet exceeds a set value (ΔPAp; for example, 2 cm). Therefore, when the sheet front-back driving amount exceeds the set value (ΔPAp), the headrest is driven to the height (PBo) corresponding to the sheet front-back position, and then the sheet front-back driving is continued. ,
The height of the headrest changes in conjunction with the forward and backward movement of the sheet. (3-2) While the prohibition means (CPU 10) prohibits the automatic headrest adjustment (FHB = 1), the control means (1
(0, 9a, 9b) drives the sheet in the front-rear direction for a set time (Th) or more, and releases the prohibition of the headrest automatic adjustment.

The user can select whether or not the headrest can be automatically adjusted by the specifying means (SE). For example, a user who has a high suitability for the relationship between the seat front-back position and the headrest height, that is, the standard characteristic, which is set for the headrest automatic adjustment, specifies that the headrest automatic adjustment is possible by the specifying means (SE). , You can take advantage of that advantage. A user having low compatibility with the standard characteristics can designate the headrest automatic adjustment prohibition by the designating means (SE) to avoid unintended automatic driving of the headrest.

Further, in a usage mode in which the number of seated persons is limited to a few specific persons, and the corresponding sheet optimal posture is registered in the memory, the seat optimal posture for each person is registered. The automatic adjustment of the headrest is practically unnecessary. In this case, by specifying the prohibition of the automatic adjustment of the headrest by the designation means (SE), the unnecessary automatic movement of the headrest can be avoided. When setting and registering a seat posture suitable for a new user, or when updating the registered posture, specify the headrest automatic adjustment possible with the designating means (SE) and adjust the seat posture. Designation means when the front and rear position adjustment is completed
It is preferable to specify the headrest automatic adjustment prohibition in (SE). For example, the electric seat is used for a front seat sheet of a passenger car, and a front seat without an occupant is used to assist loading / unloading of a load on a rear seat or getting on / off of a person.
When the electric seat of this embodiment is driven forward, the headrest does not move because the headrest automatic adjustment is not performed. That is, there is no useless movement. The same applies when the vehicle is driven rearward without a seated person in order to return the front seat to the original position. According to this, when the power returns to the normal state after the power is turned off, the information (ERA / ERB) is read out from the nonvolatile memory means (17), whereby the nonvolatile memory means (17) is read. It is possible to judge whether the member position data (EPA / EPB) is an error (low reliability) or not (high reliability). The member position data of the non-volatile memory means (17) when the electric drive mechanism is being driven when the power was last turned off and when the power is turned on this time.
When (EPA / EPB) is likely to be an error (ERA = 0 / ERB = 0), the control means (10, 9a / 9b) outputs the member position data error.
A corresponding process can be performed to ensure the reliability of the electric drive. (9) In the above (4), the prohibiting means (CPU 10) releases the prohibition of the automatic adjustment of the headrest (FHB = 0) when the means for detecting the opening and closing of the door (SF) is switched to a state indicating the opening of the door.

FIG. 2 shows the configuration of electric elements incorporated in the above-mentioned electric drive mechanisms A to F, and a sheet ECU (electronic control device for sheet attitude control) for driving each mechanism. An electric motor A1, which is a prime mover of an electric drive mechanism A for driving the sheet in the front-rear direction, is connected to a reverse rotation circuit 4a and a normal rotation circuit 5a, and the reverse rotation circuit 4a is connected to a motor controller 9a.
When "a" instructs reverse rotation (drive backward), the electric motor A1 is energized for reverse rotation, whereby the electric motor A1 rotates reversely, and the sheet moves forward (frontward). . When the motor controller 9a instructs the normal rotation (drive forward), the normal rotation circuit 5a energizes the electric motor A1 for the normal rotation, whereby the electric motor A1 rotates forward and the electric motor A1 rotates forward. -Moves in the rear direction (rear direction). In either case, the current flows to the overload detection resistor ra, and the overload detector 6a monitors the voltage drop (current value) of the resistor ra.
When it reaches a high value (a value equal to or higher than the reference value for overload detection) corresponding to reaching the movement limit position of the mechanism, an overload signal (a signal indicating overload) is generated and a motor controller is generated. Give to 9a.

Here, the state where all the electric circuits in the seat ECU shown in FIG. 2 are cut off from the power supply when the power switch SPS is off or the on-board battery BAT is not connected is referred to as a "power supply off state." The state where only a small amount of the above-described electric power is partially supplied is referred to as a “standby state”, and the state where a required operating voltage is applied to all of the electric circuits is referred to as an “active state”. Is a non-volatile memory, so that the data written therein is retained (saved) even in the "power-off state", but the CPU 10 and the RAM 12 cannot retain the data. In the “power-off state”, only the EEPROM 17 holds position data of the electric drive mechanisms A to F driven.

When the state where there is no switch input or the state change of the detection switch continues for the set time Tw from the "active state", the CPU 10 turns off the self-holding relay PRY and sets the seat ECU to the "standby state". ". Thereby, the power of the mechanisms A to F and the mechanism driving devices Ad to Fd is turned off. If there is a switch input or a change in the state of the detection switch in the "standby state", the CPU 10 turns on the self-holding relay -PRY to set it to the "active state" (power on to Ad to Fd) to respond to the input or state change. Execute the executed processing. That is, an input or a state change is encoded to generate a command for the mechanism driving devices Ad to Fd and to give them. The contents of this processing are also described with reference to FIG.
Details will be described later.

Motor controller 9 of mechanism driving device Ad
a, while executing the command and driving the electric motor A1, every time the rotary encoder A2 generates one pulse, the front and rear position registers assigned to the internal memory of the controller 9a are allocated. The position data is updated by incrementing or decrementing the position data, and the switch A3 is turned on / off.
When there is an OFF switch, the position data is updated to PAref indicating the reference point position. When the overload detection circuit 6a detects an overload, the motor drive is stopped and the motor is being driven forward. If it is, PAmin indicating the front limit position is written in the front / rear position register, and if driving backward, PAmax indicating the rear limit position is written in the front / rear position register, and the position data is held. In the "state" as well as in the "standby state", the controller 9a is powered off and cannot hold position data by itself. Therefore, during the operation of each of the mechanisms A to F, the CPU 10 similarly updates and holds the above-mentioned position data, and holds the "standby state".
Immediately after switching to the "active state", the CPU 10 determines whether the position data RPA-R addressed to each of the mechanisms A-F held by the CPU 10 is held.
The PF is transferred to each of the mechanism driving devices Ad to Fd.

The register FIB is cleared, and the light emitting diode LDB is turned off. As described above, the headrest 3 is, for example, shown in FIG.
The point moves from the point a0 shown in FIG. That is, by setting the initial position of the power-on response, the headrest 3 located in the area A is set to the upper limit position PBmax of the area.

When the power switch SPS is switched from off to on and the front-back position RPA of the sheet is in the area B or C on FIG.
Since RPA = PAref (130 mm), the target position P
Bs = PBref (35 mm) is calculated. In this case, when the headrest 3 is within the area B (for example, the point b0 shown in FIG. 11C), the position data RPB = P
Because of Bref (35 mm), the controller 9b does not drive the headrest 3. The fact that the headrest 3 is in the area B means that the headrest 3 is located at a position equal to or higher than the headrest proper position PBs corresponding to the front-rear position RPD of the sheet, that is, a position where there is a high possibility of protecting the occupant in the event of a collision. Means that. It is highly likely that the driver when the power is turned on this time is the same as the driver when the power was turned off last time, and the seat position (headrest position) is likely to be the same. , It is desirable not to drive the headrest.

If the seat position and the headrest position are within the area C (for example, point c0 shown in FIG. 11C) and the target position PBs = PBref (35 mm) is calculated, the headrest position data -RPB = PBmin (0mm)
Therefore, the controller 9b has a PBref (35 mm)-
The headrest 3 is driven upward because it is necessary to drive by PBmin (0 mm). Since the actual position of the headrest 3 before this driving is equal to or more than PBmin (0 mm), PBref
The position detection switch B3 is switched from ON to OFF until the drive for (35 mm) -PBmin (0 mm) is completed or when the drive for the drive is completed. At that time, the headrest 3
This is the position RBref of the reference point. Controller 9b and CPU 10 rewrite the position data of each position register RPB to PBref in response to this switching.
Then, the CPU 10 clears the register FIB and turns off the light emitting diode LDB. Here, the target position PB
Since s is PBref (35 mm) and the current position RPB (data of the position register RPB) is PBref (35 mm), the controller 9b stops driving the headrest 3. Thus, the headrest 3 moves from the point c0 to the point c1 shown in FIG. 11C, for example. That is, due to the initial position setting of the power-on response, the headrest 3 located in the area D lower than the proper position RBs corresponding to the sheet front-back position RPB is set to the proper position or a reference position PBref higher than the proper position RBs.

Note that, by updating (48) the position data RPA in response to the generation of the movement synchronization pulse, the position register RPA is switched before the position detection switch A3 is switched from off (area A) to on (area B). Position data RPA
Is the position data RPA in response to the generation of the movement synchronization pulse.
, There is a possibility of switching from a position indicating the position in the area A to a position indicating the position in the area B. That is, the area detection by the position detection switch A3 and the position data by the up / down counting of the movement synchronization pulse
May be inconsistent with the data. Therefore, in the present embodiment, referring to FIG. 6, the position detection switch A3
Is OFF (area A), when the position data RPA indicates a position in the area B by the down-counting of the movement synchronization pulse, the position data RPA is set to the area A.

The updating of the position data) is suspended (48f, 48g). If the sheet position has not reached the lower limit position (base point; PAmin = 0) (overload is not detected), the position data RP
When the value of A exceeds the lower limit position (negative value), the position data RPA is kept at the lower limit position (PAmin = 0) (4).
8d, 48e). The same applies to the slide retreat control (ArP). When the position detection switch A3 is ON (area B) during the slide retreat drive, the position data RPA is set in the area A by the up-count of the movement synchronization pulse. When the position data RPA indicates the position,
The limit (RPref-1) of the area B is kept, and the increment (count-up) is suspended. If the position data RPA exceeds the upper limit position (PAmax + 1) while the seat position does not reach the upper limit position (end point; PAmax) (overload is not detected), the position data RP
A is kept at the upper limit position (PAmax).

Referring back to FIG. Electric motor A1 is overloaded (motor current flowing through resistor ra is greater than or equal to the set value)
, The forward driving of the sheet is stopped and the data in the position register RPA is updated to the base value PAmin (= 0).
The register FIA is cleared to turn off the light emitting diode LDA (33, 34, 35-44). Also, when the sheet forward instruction switch SBAf returns from ON to OFF, the forward driving of the sheet is stopped (32-44). When the motor drive is stopped, the data RPA of the position register RPA whose data has been updated during the motor drive is transferred to the EEPRO.
Write to register EPA of M17 (45), register F
If the IA data is "0" (meaning that the data RPA is a value based on the detected value), the EEPROM 1
7 is written with control data ERA = "1" (during motor stop: data EPA of register EPA is an accurate value) (47).

If the motor A1 is being driven (step 36)
Assuming that the power switch SPS is opened at ERA = 0), this causes the sheet ECU to be in the "power off state".
10 does not execute steps 34, 35 and 44-47. Thereby, the control data ERA of the EEPROM 17 is obtained.
Remains at "0", and the position data EPA remains at the position indicating the seat position immediately before the driving of the motor A1, and does not reflect the position change due to the current motor driving. Next, when the power is turned on, steps 7A to 1 in FIG.
2A is executed. While motor A1 is stopped (step 4
7, when the power switch SPS is opened at ERA = 1), the next time the power is turned on, step 6 in FIG.
A is executed, and the position data EPA (RPA written in step 45) is set as the sheet position data RPA,
This correctly represents the current sheet position.

Headrest standard position PBs assigned to
The upper thick left-downward diagonal line) is calculated as PBs = 0.53 × RPA-33.9 (mm). Here, the unit is mm for both PBs and RPA. Then, a value obtained by adding the user's individual headrest vertical adjustment value PBa to the standard position PBs is calculated as the headrest target position PBo. When PBo <0 mm, PBo = 0 mm is updated, and when PBo> 72 mm, PBo is updated to 72 mm (59-62), which is given to the motor controller 9b of the driving device Bd to instruct driving of the headrest to the target position PBo (63). The user-specific adjustment value PBa refers to each switch SA1.
3 are the individual adjustment amounts registered in the respective attitude data tables 1 to 3 on the EEPROM 17 and are the attitude data tables corresponding to the switch SAi that is currently ON among the switches SA1 to SA3. This is the value read from i. When all the switches SA1 to SA3 are off, the adjustment value PBa is set to 0 (60).
