0, there is an inherent disadvantage that maintenance of the actuator motor 54 and the pump motor 55 is difficult. That is, the main bodies of the actuator motor 54 and the pump motor 55 are arranged so as to cover the front surface of the housing 11 without removing the top plate 12 and the top heat insulating plate 13 which are provided so as to cover the top surface from the housing 11. Even if it can be detached from the mounting frame 90 or the ice making water tank 53 only by removing the provided front panel 14 alone, since the space between the mounting frame 90 and the top surface heat insulating plate 13 (top plate 12) is extremely small, The joining operation and the separating operation of the relay connector 58 could not be performed unless the top plate 12 and the top heat insulating plate 13 were removed. Moreover, at the customer's side, cupboards, articles, etc. are often placed on the upper surface of the ice making machine 10 (top plate 12), and when the motors 54, 55 need to be attached or detached or replaced, the top plate 12 These must be removed before removal, which makes maintenance work complicated and time-consuming. Further, when removing the top plate 12 and the top surface insulation plate 13, there is a possibility that dirt, dust, foreign matter, or the like may enter and fall into the ice storage chamber 15, and there is a problem inherent in hygiene.

As described above, according to the relay connector installation structure for an automatic ice maker according to the present invention, a connector installation section defining a storage chamber opened forward is provided on the front surface of the mounting frame. Since the relay connector is stored in the storage chamber, the joining operation or the separation operation of the relay connector can be performed on the front side by taking out the target relay connector from the storage chamber. Therefore, since there is no need to remove the top surface heat insulating plate or the top plate from the housing, there is an advantage that the work of attaching and detaching the electrical components can be performed easily and in a short time.
In addition, since the top surface heat insulating plate and the top plate are not removed, intrusion and fall of dust, dust, and foreign matter into the ice storage chamber can be suitably avoided.
Further, since each relay connector is housed in the connector installation portion and each lead wire is held without slack, the lead wire does not get caught on the water tray which is tilted and displaced in the ice making operation or the deicing operation. It can be suitably avoided.

In the connector installation portion, a notch for inserting a conducting wire is provided in the wall portion. Therefore, the conducting wire connected to the connector is suitably held in the notch in a state where the relay connector is stored in the storage room. In addition, since the inner surface of the lower wall portion is inclined forward and downward, the ice making water and the like that has entered the storage room immediately flows down to the front side and is guided to the outside. Furthermore, if a projection piece is provided inside the lower wall portion, each relay connector and the conductive wire are held in a state of being constantly floated away from the wall portion by the projection piece, so that invading ice making water and the like can be prevented. No contact with relay connector or conductor,
Electric leakage and the like can be prevented. By removing the front panel from the housing, the connector installation section is configured to be visible from the front side, so that the number of parts to be attached or detached during maintenance can be reduced, the number of work steps can be reduced, and the work can be reduced. This has the advantage that the time can be reduced.
