認識した上記残量と、１回の撮影で記録する画像データ量とに基づいて、少なくとも１回撮影できるかを判定し、撮影できると判定したときは上記残量を表示し、該判定結果に応じた上記残量の表示をすることを特徴とする撮像装置の記録媒体残量表示方法。
