Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.アルミニウム、ガリウム、ゲルマニウム、錫、インジウム、砒素、アンチ モンおよびバナジウムからなる群より選択される金属の金属酸化物が配置された 表面を少なくとも一部に有するシリカ粒子を含む水分散性層(water-spreading l ayer)でコーティングされた基材を含み、前記水分散性層が、ATR−IRによ り測定して、160°Fで脱イオン水に3日間浸漬した後に1108cm-1でのS i−O伸縮の吸収の少なくとも35%が残るような耐久性を示す、耐久性のある 水分散性物品。 2.前記金属がアルミニウムである請求項1記載の耐久性のある水分散性物品 。 3.160°Fで3日間浸漬した後に、1108cm-1での水分散性層の吸収の少な くとも40%が残り、前記水分散性層上の水滴の静的接触角が20°未満である 請求項1〜2記載の耐久性のある水分散性物品。 4.160°Fで3日間浸漬した後に、1108cm-1での水分散性層の吸収の少な くとも50%が残る請求項1〜3記載の耐久性のある水分散性物品。 5.前記シリカ粒子が負の表面電荷を有している請求項1〜4記載の耐久性の ある水分散性物品。 6.前記水分散性層が、固形分重量を基準として、約40重量%から約95重 量%のシリカ粒子、約0.01重量%から約25重量%のアルミン酸塩および約 0重量%から約60重量%のバインダーを含み、前記アルミン酸塩はシリカ粒子 700部に対して少なくともアルミン酸塩1部の重量比で存在する請求項1〜5 記載の耐 久性のある水分散性物品。 7.前記基材は再帰反射性シートを含む請求項1〜6の耐久性のある水分散性 物品。 8.アルミニウム、ガリウム、ゲルマニウム、錫、インジウム、砒素、アンチ モン、バナジウムおよびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される金属の少 なくとも1種の水溶性金属酸化物アニオンを少なくとも1種類含む水溶液で少な くとも一部が処理されたシリカ粒子を含む水分散性層がコーティングされた基材 を含む、耐久性のある水分散性物品。 9.前記水溶液はアルミン酸塩を含む請求項8記載の耐久性のある水分散性物 品。 10.前記水分散性層は有機バインダーを含み、前記水分散性層表面はコロナ 放電により処理されて、前記水分散性層表面から前記有機バインダーの一部を除 去してある請求項8〜9記載の耐久性のある水分散性物品。 11.前記水分散性層は、前記基材表面に隣接した下部表面と、水溶性アルミ ン酸塩溶液で処理された露出した上部表面とを有する請求項9〜10記載の耐久 性のある水分散性物品。 12.前記水分散性層が、固形分重量を基準として、約40重量%から約95 重量%のシリカ粒子、約0.01重量%から約25重量%のアルミン酸塩および 約0重量%から約60重量%のバインダーを含む請求項8〜11記載の耐久性の ある水分散性物品。 13.前記基材は再帰反射性シートを含む請求項8〜12記載の耐久性のある 水分散性物品。 14.前記水分散性層は、前記基材表面に隣接した下部表面と、内部領域と、 上部表面とを有し、前記上部表面に最も近い前記内部 領域は、前記基材に最も近い前記内部領域よりも金属イオンの濃度が高い請求項 8〜13記載の耐久性のある水分散性物品。 15.前記水分散性層はバインダーを含み、前記水分散性層の外側表面は、前 記水分散性層の内側よりシリカ粒子の濃度が高い請求項8〜14記載の耐久性の ある水分散性物品。 16.前記水分散性層は、ATR−IRにより測定して160°Fで脱イオン 水に3日間浸漬した後に1108cm-1でのSi−O伸縮の吸収の少なくとも35 %が残るような耐久性を有する請求項8〜15記載の耐久性のある水分散性物品 。 17.アルミニウム、ガリウム、ゲルマニウム、錫、インジウム、砒素、アン チモン、バナジウムおよびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される金属の 少なくとも1種の金属酸化物アニオンを少なくとも1種含む水溶液で少なくとも 一部が処理されたコロイドシリカのコーティングを基材に配置する工程を含む、 基材と耐久性のある水分散性コーティングとを含む物品を作成する方法。 18.金属酸化物アニオンはY-と定義され、前記コロイドシリカの少なくと も1部が、Li+、Na+、K+およびNH4 +からなる群より選択されるX+とAl O2 -、GaO2 -、GeO2 -、InO2 -、SnO2 -、SbO2 -、AsO3 -、SbO3 - およびVO3 -からなる群より選択されるY-で表されるX+Y-を含む溶液で処 理される請求項17記載の方法。 19.前記コロイドシリカは、水性分散液の形態で基材に塗布され、アルミン 酸塩を前記分散液に加える請求項17〜18記載の方法。 20.前記コロイドシリカ粒子を含む分散液を基材表面に塗布する工程と、続 けて前記溶液を乾燥させて水分散性層を形成する工程 と、続けて前記水分散性層表面を金属含有水溶液で処理する工程とを含む請求項 16〜18記載の方法。 21.前記金属がアルミニウムである請求項17〜20記載の方法。 22.前記アルミニウム含有溶液が水溶性アルミン酸ナトリウムを含む請求項 17〜21記載の方法。
