Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.エンジン油及び工業用潤滑油組成物中の潤滑油として有用な生分解性高性能 炭化水素基油を製造するための方法であって、 700°F+パラフィン系供給原料又は700°F+成分を含有するパラフィ ン系供給原料を二官能性触媒上で水素と接触させて、水素異性化反応及び水素化 分解反応を引き起こし、次いで供給原料の700°F+成分の重量に対する1回 通過基準で約20パーセントから約50パーセントの範囲の700°F+転化レ ベルをもたらし、メチルパラフィン類に富んだ700°F+物質を含有する粗留 分を製造する工程; 該粗留分を常圧蒸留によってトッピングして、初留点が約650°Fと約75 0°Fとの間である残留缶出液留分を製造する工程; 該缶出液留分を溶媒で脱蝋して、脱蝋油を回収する工程;および 該脱蝋油を真空で精留して、前記生分解性高性能炭化水素基油を回収する工程 ;からなることを特徴とする方法。 2.パラフィン系供給原料は、フィッシャー・トロプシュ・ワックス、またはフ ィッシャー・トロプシュ反応生成物であることを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載 の方法。 3.触媒は、粒状耐火性無機酸化物担体上に担持された少なくとも一種の第VI II族金属からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の方法。 4.触媒は、少なくとも一種の第VIII族金属に加え、少なくとも一種の第I B族金属若しくは第VIB族金属、または少なくとも一種の第IB族金属および 第VIB族金属の混合物からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲3に記載の方法。 5.金属の濃度は、触媒の全重量に対して約0.1パーセントから約20パーセ ントの範囲であり、かつ、第IB族金属は、銅、第VIB族金属は、モリブデン 、第VIII族金属は、パラジウム、白金、ニッケル、またはコバルトであるこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲4に記載の方法。 6.水素異性化反応及び水素化分解反応により製造された粗留分は、1分子中の 炭素原子100個当たり約6.0から7.5個のメチル分鎖を有するイソパラフ ィン類に富んだ700°F+物質であることを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の 方法。 7.製造された700°F+物質は、1分子中の炭素原子100個当たり約6. 5から7.0個のメチル分鎖を有するイソパラフィン類に富むことを特徴とする 請求の範囲6に記載の方法。 8.パラフィン系供給原料の700°F+転化レベルは、約25パーセントから 約40パーセントの範囲であることを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の方法。 9.1種または2種以上の粘度グレードの潤滑油は、溶媒脱蝋した油から真空精 留することにより製造され、かつ、その留分の少なくとも1つは、医薬用グレー ドのホワイトオイル診断用の熱酸試験に合格するのに十分な程度に水素化精製さ れることを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の方法。 10.請求の範囲1乃至8のいずれかに記載の方法によって製造された、エンジ ン油成分又はエンジン油として有用な生分解性高性能炭化水素基油。
