Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.遠位端及び近位端を有し、電子マイクロ回路を備え、 前記マイクロ回路がプローブの較正に関する情報を格納している 被験者の体内挿入用プローブ。 2.前記マイクロ回路についての情報の少なくとも一部が、暗号化されている 請求項1に記載のプローブ。 3.前記マイクロ波回路が使用状況コードを格納し、使用状況コードにより当 該プローブの使用者に対する当該プローブの有用性を規制する請求項2に記載の プローブ。 4.使用状況コードを、当該プローブの有用性が減少するように変えることが できるが増加するように変えることができないアクセス制御回路を含む請求項3 に記載のプローブ。 5.前記マイクロ回路が使用状況コードを該マイクロ回路内の記憶域に格納し 、前記記憶域が読み取りアクセス・書き込み専用モードで動作するようにアクセ ス回路により制御される請求項3に記載のプローブ。 6.モードが前記アクセス制御回路にパスワードを入力することにより変わる 請求項5に記載のプローブ。 7.使用状況コードがデータ情報を含む請求項6に記載のプローブ。 8.当該プローブの位置あるいは方位に応答する信号を発生させる素子を備え 、 較正に関する情報が前記信号発生素子の較正に関する情報を備えた請求項1に 記載のプローブ。 9.前記信号発生素子が当該プローブの遠位端に隣接している請求項8に記載 のプローブ。 10.前記信号発生素子が1個以上のコイルを備えた請求項8に記載のプロー ブ。 11.較正に関する情報が1個以上の前記コイルのうちの1個のコイルのゲイ ンに関する情報を備えた請求項10に記載のプローブ。 12.較正に関する情報が1個以上の前記コイルのうちの1個のコイルの角方 位に関する情報を備えた請求項10に記載のプローブ。 13.較正に関する情報が当該プローブの近位端を基準とした前記信号発生素 子の位置変位に関する情報を備えた請求項8に記載のプローブ。 14.絶縁回路を含み、較正に関する情報が前記絶縁回路の非線形性に関する 情報を備えた請求項1に記載のプローブ。 15.前記マイクロ回路が当該プローブの近位端に隣接している請求項1に記 載のプローブ。 16.当該プローブが、さらにその近位端にコネクターを備え、前記マイクロ 回路が前記コネクターに収容されている請求項15に記載のプローブ。 17.前記マイクロ回路が書き込み可能な記憶素子を備えた請求項1乃至請求 項16のうちのいずれか1項に記載のプローブ。 18.前記書き込み可能な記憶素子がEEPROM素子を備えた請求項17に 記載のプローブ。 19.前記書き込み可能な記憶素子が不揮発性RAM素子を備えた請求項17 に記載のプローブ。 20.前記書き込み可能な記憶素子がEPROM素子あるいはPROM素子を 備えた請求項17に記載のプローブ。 21.前記書き込み可能な記憶素子がフラッシュROM素子を備えた請求項1 7に記載のプローブ。 22.請求項8乃至請求項13のうちのいずれか1項に記載のプローブと、 コンピュータを備え、位置あるは方位応答信号及び較正に関する情報を受信し 、それら乃至前記プローブの位置を決定するコンソールとを備えた 被験者の体内に位置するプローブの位置決定用装置。 23.前記マイクロ回路が前記プローブの近位端に隣接している請求項22に 記載の装置。 24.前記プローブがさらにその近位端にコネクターを備え、前記マイクロ回 路が前記コネクターに収容され、 前記コンソールがさらに接続端子を備え、該接続端子が前記プローブの前記コ ネクターと連結できるように構成されている 請求項23に記載の装置。 25.前記マイクロ回路が書き込み可能な記憶素子を備えた請求項22に記載 の装置。 26.前記プローブが前記書き込み可能な記憶素子に書き込むことができるよ うに構成されている1個以上の接続を含む請求項25に記載の装置。 27.前記接続端子が前記書き込み可能な記憶素子に書き込むための少なくと も1個の接続を無効にする手段を含む請求項26に記載の装置。 28.前記書き込み可能な記憶素子がEEPROM素子を備えた請求項25に 記載の装置。 29.前記書き込み可能な記憶素子が不揮発性RAM素子を備えた請求項25 に記載の装置。 30.前記書き込み可能な記憶素子がEPROM素子あるいはPRMO素子を 備えた請求項25に記載の装置。 31.前記書き込み可能な記憶素子がフラッシュROM素子を備えた請求項2 5に記載の装置。 32.前記コンピュータがさらに前記書き込み可能な記憶素子に書き込むこと ができるように構成されている請求項25に記載の装置。 33.前記コンソールがさらにEPROM書き込み装置あるいはPROM書き 込み装置を含み、この装置がEPROM素子あるいはPROM素子に書き込むこ とができるように構成されている請求項30に記載の装置。 34.プローブに関する較正データを決定する工程と、 マイクロ回路にある較正データを記録するようにマイクロ回路を書き込む工程 とを備えた 書き込み可能なマイクロ回路を含む被験者の体内挿入用プローブの較正方法。 35.較正コードを暗号化する工程と、それを前記マイクロ回路に書き込む工 程とを備えた請求項34に記載の方法。 36.前記マイクロ回路に書き込む工程が使用状況記録を設定する工程を含む 請求項34に記載の方法。 37.使用状況記録が前記プローブの許容使用期日を示す請求項36に記載の 方法。 38.使用状況記録が前記プローブの再使用可能回数を示す請求項36に記載 の方法。 39.使用状況記録が前記プローブの使用可能継続時間を示す請求項36に記 載の方法。 40.前記マイクロ回路に書き込む工程が使用状況記録へのアクセスを制限す る工程を含み、前記プローブの使用者に対する前記プローブの有用性が減少する が増加しない請求項36に記載の方法。 41.使用状況記録へのアクセスを制限する工程が使用状況記録の1個以上の ビットを第1の値乃至第2の値に変更することができるが第2の値乃至第1の値 に変更することができない工程を備えた請求項40に記載の方法。 42.使用状況記録へのアクセスを制限する工程がパスワードを設定する工程 を含む請求項40または請求項41に記載の方法。 43.較正データが前記プローブの位置あるいは方位に応答する信号を発生さ せる信号発生素子に関する請求項34に記載の方法。 44.前記位置あるいは方位応答信号発生素子がゲインを有し、較正データが 前記位置あるいは方位応答信号発生素子のゲインに関するデータを含む請求項4 3に記載の方法。 45.較正データが前記位置あるいは方位応答信号発生素子の角方位に関する データを含む請求項43に記載の方法。 46.較正データが、前記プローブを基準とした、前記位置あるいは方位応答 信号発生素子の角方位に関するデータを含む請求項43に記載の方法。 47.請求項43乃至請求項46のうちのいずれか1項に記載の、プローブに 関する較正データを決定する工程及びプローブにあるマイクロ回路に書き込む工 程と、 体内に位置する前記プローブの位置あるいは方位を、位置あるいは方位応答信 号及び較正データに基づいて計算する工程とを備えた プローブの位置あるいは方位決定方法。 48.暗号化されたコードを読み取る工程と、 暗号化されたコードが予め決められたコードと一致していないとき、プローブ の使用者に知らせる工程とを備えた 暗号化されたコードを内部に格納しているプローブの使用状況規制方法。 49.暗号化されたコードを読み取る工程と、 暗号化されたコードが予め決められたコードと一致していないとき、プローブ の動作を止める工程とを備えた 暗号化されたコードを内部に格納しているプローブの使用状況規制方法。 50.暗号化されたコードを読み取る工程と、 暗号化されたコードが与えられた範囲内の値でないとき、プローブの動作を止 める工程とを備えた 暗号化されたコードを内部に格納しているプローブの使用状況規制方法。 51.前記プローブの使用状況記録を更新する工程を備えた請求項48乃至請 求項50のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。 52.位置決め可能部と信号発生素子とを有し、該信号発生素子がプローブの 位置あるいは方位に応答する信号を発生する該プローブを提供する工程と、 前記信号発生素子と前記位置決め可能部とを1以上の予め決められた位置及び 方位に固定して連結する工程と、 前記信号発生素子の周辺で明らかにされており、前記信号発生素子に位置ある いは方位応答信号を発生させる、予め決められた磁場を加える工程と、 前記信号発生素子が発生させる信号を受信する工程とを含む 被験者の体内挿入用プローブの較正方法。 53.較正データの少なくともいくつかを、実質的に均一な磁場を前記プロー ブに加えることにより決定する請求項52に記載の方法。 54.較正データの少なくともいくつかを、空間的に変化可能な磁場を前記プ ローブに加えることにより決定する請求項52に記載の方法。 55.前記信号発生素子が発生させる位置あるいは方位応答信号がそこに加え られる磁場の方向成分に比例する大きさを有し、較正データが比例に関するデー タを含む請求項52に記載の方法。 56.較正データが前記位置あるいは方位応答信号発生素子の角方位に関する データを含む請求項52に記載の方法。 57.較正データが前記位置あるいは方位応答信号発生素子の位置変位に関す るデータを含む請求項52に記載の方法。 58.前記プローブを加熱する工程を備えた請求項52乃至請求項57のうち のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 59.前記プローブを加熱する工程が前記プローブをほぼ37℃に加熱する工 程を備えた請求項58に記載の方法。 60.前記プローブに較正データを格納する工程を備えた請求項52乃至請求 項57のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。 61.3つの実質的に直交する軸及び中心領域を規定し、中心領域において3 つの軸の方向に沿って実質的に均一な磁場を発生するように構成された、複数の コイルと、 中心領域にプローブの遠位端を固定する手段とを備えた 内部に位置感知素子を有するプローブの較正用装置。 62.前記コイルが3個の直交する、互いに平行なコイル対を含む請求項61 に記載の方法。 63.前記プローブを中心領域において固定した位置及び方位に保持するため の鉗子を備えた請求項61または請求項62に記載の方法。 64.プローブが挿入できるように較正され、それぞれが前記プローブの異な った予め決められた位置及び方位を規定する複数の端子を含む治具と、 異なった予め決められた位置及び方位に対して異なった磁場を発生させる複数 のコイルとを備えた 内部に位置感知素子を有するプローブの較正用装置。 65.前記プローブを加熱するヒータを備えた請求項61,請求項62及び請 求項64のうちのいずれか1項に記載の装置。 66.前記プローブの温度を検出する温度センサを備えた請求項65に記載の 方法。 67.遠位端及び近位端を有する細長い柔軟な本体と、 前記本体の遠位端に位置する信号発生部と、 前記信号発生部が発生させる信号を外部の受信機に送信する送信機とを備えた ワイヤレスカテーテル。 68.前記送信機が外部の送信機乃至の送信を受信する受信機を備えた請求項 67項に記載のカテーテル。
