- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.10〜50μm、好ましくは10〜30μmの範囲の狭いサイズ分散を有 するPVC粒子の製造方法において、 第1段階において、ビニルモノマーまたはモノマー類の混合物を重合して1〜 10μmの範囲のポリマー/オリゴマー種粒子を形成し、続いて、第2段階にお いて、他のビニルモノマーまたはモノマー類の混合物がポリマー/オリゴマー種 粒子に膨潤され、前記粒子が所望のサイズのポリマー粒子に成長するように重合 を行うことを特徴とする製造方法。 2.芳香族ビニルモノマーまたはアクリレートが、種粒子のモノマーとして使 用される請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3.第1段階における種粒子が、第2段階の膨潤プロセスにおいて製造される 請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 4.第1段階における種粒子が、分散重合により製造される請求の範囲第1項 に記載の方法。 5.分散重合が、開始剤および溶剤の予備加熱混合物により開始され、前記予 備加熱混合物が、粒子の核化する時間内に媒体の温度をそれほど変化させないよ うに反応混合物に導入される請求の範囲第4項に記載の方法。 6.粒子が、反応媒体から分離され、プロセスの第2段階に移される前に、補 助的な薬剤により清浄される請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 7.第2段階における重合の前に、分散重合により製造された種粒子が、油溶 性開始剤およびモノマー類の混合物中で膨潤することにより活性化し、続いて開 始剤が分解し、さらなるモノマーが重合の完結のために導入される請求の範囲第 4項に記載の方法。 8.第1段階において、油溶性の有機過酸化物またはアゾタイプの開始剤が重 合開始剤として使用される請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 9.第2段階において、重合が種粒子内の残存する開始剤により行われる請求 の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 10.第2段階が、相分離を避けるためにモノマーの連続導入により行われる 請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 11.10〜50μmの範囲の球形のPVCの製造方法において、 第1段階において、重合開始剤として油溶性の有機過酸化物が使用される分散 重合により、種粒子が製造され、第2段階において、重合媒体、安定剤、モノマ ーおよび開始剤−活性剤のみが導入され、第2段階において重合が前記種粒子に 残存する開始剤を用いて行われることを特徴とする製造方法。 12.他のポリマーシステムまたは他のポリマーシステムが存在しない場合の 液体における粘度降下剤として、分離の目的のためのカラムのフィラーとして、 あるいはさらなる化学的改質のためのベース粒子としての、請求の範囲第1項な いし第12項のいずれか1項の製造方法により製造された粒子の使用。 13.10〜50μm、とくに10〜30μmの範囲である狭いサイズ分散を 有する球形のPVC粒子、標準PVCペースト、0〜100部の可塑剤、0.1 から10部の熱安定剤および0〜100部の他のPVCベース製品の一般的な添 加剤を含むことを特徴とする、とくにプラスチゾルの用途のためのPVC混合物 。 14.10〜50μm、とくに10〜30μmの範囲である狭いサイズ分散を 有する球形のPVC粒子であって、前記粒子は2つの段階の重合プロセスにより 製造され、第1段階において重合開始剤として油溶性の有機過酸化物が使用され る分散重合により製造された種粒子が、第2段階に移され、第2段階においては 重合媒体、安定剤、モノマーおよび開始剤−活性剤が導入され、第2段階におけ る重合は、種粒子中の残存開始剤を用いて行われることを特徴とする球形のPV C粒子。
