Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. a) 電池の酸及び電池の板(battery plate)を保持するための区画を 形成している底部及び側壁をもつ底部分; b) 底部分及び上方部分が、ホモポリマー、コポリマー、及びポリリン酸アン モニウムを含んでなる難燃性熱可塑性組成物から形成されている、前記の区画を 覆うための上方部分: を含んでなる電池のケーシング。 2. a) ホモポリマー、 b) コポリマー;及び c) ポリリン酸アンモニウム: を含んでなる、難燃性の熱可塑性組成物から形成されている電池のケーシング。 3. ホモポリマーがポリプロピレンを含む、第2項の電池ケーシング。 4. ホモポリマーがポリエチレンを含む、第2項の電池ケーシング。 5. コポリマーがエチレン及びプロピレンを含む、第2項の電池ケーシング。 6. 組成物のホモポリマーが、約33と35重量パーセントの間の範囲にある 、第2項の電池ケーシング。 7. 組成物のコポリマーが、約33と約35重量パーセントの間の範囲にある 、第2項の電池ケーシング。 8. ポリリン酸アンモニウムがHostaflam TP AP 750難燃剤系を含んでなる、 第2項の電池ケーシング。 9. ポリリン酸アンモニウムが約25と27重量パーセントの間の範囲にある 、第2項の電池ケーシング。 10. ホモポリマー及びコポリマーがポリフォレフィン類から選ばれる、第2 項の電池ケーシング。 11. ホモポリマー及びコポリマーが、エチレン、プロピレン、1−ブテン、 1−ペンテン、1−ヘキセン、2−メチル−1−プロペン、3−メチル−1−ペ ンテン、4−メチル−1−ペンテン、及び5−メチル−1−ヘキセンからなる群 から選ばれる1種又は数種のモノオレフィンの重合化により形成される、結晶性 の高分子量生成物を含んでなる、第2項の電池ケーシング。 12. モノオレフィンがプロピレン及びエチレンからなる群から選ばれる、第 11項の電池ケーシング。 13. 重合化ポリプロピレンが、プロピレン、エチレンのイソタクチックポリ マー、並びにプロピレンのエチレンとのコポリマー、からなる群から選ばれる、 第12項の電池ケーシング。 14. 熱可塑性組成物が更に、アルミニウム三水和物、水和マグネシウム、水 和ケイ酸カルシウム、及び炭酸カルシウムからなる群から選ばれる充填剤を含む 、第2項の電池ケーシング。 15. 前記の充填剤が、ホモポリマー及びコポリマー100部当たり約0〜2 50部、変動する第14項の電池ケーシング。 16. 前記の充填剤が更に、メラミン及びポリオールを含む、第14項の電池 ケーシング。 17. 光電池中に含まれる第2項の電池ケーシング。 18. 起動電池に含まれる第2項の電池ケーシング。 19. バックアップ電池に含まれる第2項の電池ケーシング。 20. ハロゲン含有の難燃剤成分及びポリプロピレン成分を含む、ポ リマー組成物を含んでなる、電池ケーシング。 21. ホモポリマー及びコポリマーが、エチレン、プロピレン、1−ブテン、 1−ペンテン、1−ヘキセン、2−メチル−1−プロペン、3−メチル−1−ペ ンテン、4−メチル−1−ペンテン、及び5−メチル−1−ヘキセンからなる群 から選ばれる1種又は数種のモノオレフィンの重合化により形成される、結晶性 の高分子量生成物を含んでなる、第20項の電池ケーシング。 22. モノオレフィンがプロピレン及びエチレンからなる群から選ばれる、第 21項の電池ケーシング。 23. 重合化ポリプロピレンが、プロピレン、エチレンのイソタクチックポリ マー、並びにプロピレンのエチレンとのコポリマー、からなる群から選ばれる、 第22項の電池ケーシング。 24. ハロゲン含有難燃性成分が芳香族及び脂肪族臭素を含む、第20項の電 池ケーシング。 25. ポリマー組成物が更に充填剤を含む、第24項の電池ケーシング。 26. 充填剤が、珪藻土及び炭酸塩からなる群から選ばれる、第25項の電池 ケーシング。 27. ポリマー組成物が更に発泡剤を含む、第24項の電池ケーシング。 28. 発泡剤が、メラミン及びジペンタエリスリトールからなる群から選ばれ る、第27項の電池ケーシング。 29. 約340及び410°Fの間の範囲の温度で、ホモポリマー、コポリマ ー及びポリリン酸アンモニウムを一緒にブレンドして、難燃性 組成物を形成することを含んでなる、電池ケーシングのための難燃性組成物の形 成のための方法。 30. 組成物が、前方及び反対方向の捩り角をもつ2基のローターによりブレ ンドされ、前記のローターが逆転性で非かみ合い性である、第29項の方法。 31. ローターが約3.84インチの直径及び約14インチの作業長さをもつ 、第30項の方法。 32. a) 内壁をもつハウジング; b) 前進する捩り角をもつ第1のローター;及び c) 逆方向の捩り角をもつ第2のローター: を含んでなり、そこで、前記のローターが、相互に逆回転可能で、相互にかみ合 わず、そして約0.11インチの、前記のハウジングの内壁と前記のローターの 間の隙間をもつ、熱可塑性組成物のためのミキサー。 33. ローターが約3.84インチの直径をもつ、第32項のミキサー。 34. ローターが約14インチの作業長さをもつ、第33項のミキサー。
