Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.目標物体において微生物を滅菌するための装置であって、 広スペクトル大強度短持続時間多色光パルスを生成するためと、生成された光 パルスで前記目標物体を照射することにより前記目標物体内部の微生物を不活化 するためのフラッシュランプ・システムと、 前記目標物体にを照射する光の量の尺度として光パルスの各々の一部を受け取 るように配置され、これに応答して出力信号を生成するための光感受性検出器と 、 前記フラッシュランプ・システム及び前記光感受性検出器に接続されて、前記 出力信号に応答し前記目標物体内の微生物の所定レベルの不活化を行なうのに光 のパルスが充分であるかを判定するための制御システムと、 を含むことを特徴とする装置。 2.前記制御システムはパルス・パラメータを表わす別の出力信号をモニタする ためと、前記別の出力信号に応答して、前記目標物体における微生物の所定レベ ルの不活化を行なう光パルスを生成するのに前記パルス・パラメータが充分であ るかをさらに判定するための手段をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載 の装置。 3.前記制御システムはさらに モニタ兼制御回路と、 ソフトウェアを含むコンピュータと、 を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。 4.前記制御システムは前記他の出力信号をモニタするための手段を含み、前記 他の出力信号は電流、電圧、ピーク電流、電流波形、ピーク電圧、電圧波形から なるパルス・パラメータのグループから選択されたパルス・パラメータを表わす ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。 5.前記光感受性検出器は前記出力信号を生成し、前記出力信号はフラッシュあ たり総光量、フラッシュあたり光量、時間経過総エネルギー、及び予め選択され たバンド幅内の時間経過エネルギーからなるグループから選択された光パラメー タを表わすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 6.前記制御システムは モニタおよび制御回路と、 ソフトウェアを含むコンピュータと、 を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の装置。 7.前記制御システムは前記出力信号に応答して前記光パルスが少なくとも所定 のフラッシュあたり光量かどうかを判定するための手段を含むことを特徴とする 請求項1に記載の装置。 8.前記制御システムは前記出力信号に応答して前記光パルスが所定の周波数バ ンド内で少なくとも所定のフラッシュあたり光量かどうかを判定するための手段 を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 9.前記不活化手段は少なくとも10のマイナス6乗の滅菌保証レベルを達成す るための手段を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 10.前記不活化手段は少なくとも10のマイナス3乗の滅菌保証レベルを達成 するための手段を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 11.前記フラッシュランプ・システムはフラッシュランプ・電球と前記目標物 体を少なくとも部分的に包囲して前記目標物体に向けて前記光パルスを反射する ためと前記目標物体を透過した光の少なくとも一部を前記目標物体に向けて反射 するためのレフレクタを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 12.フラッシュランプの付近に配置されて前記目標物体に向けて光パルスを反 射するためのレフレクタ をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 13.前記レフレクタに配置され前記光感受性装置が取り付けられる穴をさらに 含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の装置。 14.目標物体内の微生物を滅菌するための方法であって、 広スペクトル大強度短持続時間多色光パルスを生成するステップと、 前記目標物体に生成された光のパルスを配光することにより前記目標物体にお いて微生物を不活化するステップと、 前記目標物体に照射する前記光パルスの量の尺度として前記光パルスの一部を 受光するステップと、 前記光パルスの前記一部の受光に応答して出力信号を生成するステップと、 前記出力信号の生成に応答して前記目標物体における微生物の所定レベルの不 活化を行なうのに前記光パルスが充分であるかを判定するステップと、 を含むことを特徴とする方法。 15.前記光パルスが充分であるかを決定する前記ステップは前記光パルスが少 なくとも所定のフラッシュあたり光量であるか判定するステップを含むことを特 徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。 16.前記光パルスが充分であるかを決定する前記ステップは前記パルスが少な くとも所定のスペクトル成分を含むか判定するステップを含むことを特徴とする 請求項14に記載の方法。 17.前記不活化するステップは少なくとも10のマイナス6乗の滅菌保証レベ ルを達成するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。 18.前記不活化するステップは少なくとも10のマイナス3乗の滅菌保証レベ ルを達成するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。 19.各々の光パルスの少なくとも一部を前記目標物体に向けて反射するステッ プ をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。
