Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ポリマーの生体接着性を改善する方法であって、該ポリマーの粘膜に接着す る能力を増強するに有効な量で該ポリマー中に無水物オリゴマーを組み込む工程 を包含し、ここで該無水物オリゴマーが、無水物結合によって結合した20以下の 二塩基酸単位を含むか、または5000ダルトン以下の分子量を有する、方法。 2.前記無水物オリゴマーが、イオン結合または共有結合によって前記ポリマー に伴われる、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記無水物オリゴマーが、フマル酸、マレイン酸、コハク酸、アジピン酸、 セバシン酸、およびカルボキシフェノール酸からなる群から選択されるジカルボ ン酸モノマーを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 4.前記無水物オリゴマーが、ビス(p-カルボキシフェノキシ)メタン、ビス(p- カルボキシフェノキシ)プロパン、およびビス(p-カルボキシフェノキシ)ヘキサ ン、フタル酸、イソフタル酸、テレフタル酸、アゼライン酸、ピメリン酸、イタ コン酸、シクロヘキサンジカルボン酸、1,4-フェニレンジプロピオン酸、および 1,10-ドデカン二酸からなる群から選択されるジカルボン酸モノマーを含む、請 求項1に記載の方法。 5.前記ポリマーがミクロスフェアの形態であり、そして該ミクロスフェアの形 成の間に該ポリマー中に前記無水物オリゴマーを組み込むことによって該ミクロ スフェアの生体接着性を改善する工程を包含し、それによって該ミクロスフェア の粘膜に接着する能力を増強する、請求項1に記載の方法。 6.前記無水物オリゴマーが、ミクロスフェアの少なくとも表面上の粒子の微細 分散物の形態である、請求項5に記載の方法。 7.前記無水物オリゴマーを組み込む前記ポリマーが、異なる材料から形成され るミクロスフェアの表面上にコートされる、請求項5に記載の方法。 8.前記ポリマーが、タンパク質および多糖からなる群から選択される、請求項 1に記載の方法。 9.前記ポリマーが、ポリアミド、ポリカーボネート、ポリアルキレン、ポリア リールアルキレン、ポリアルキレングリコール、ポリアルキレンオキシド、ポリ アルキレンテレフタラート、ポリビニルポリマー、ポリホスファゼン、ポリアク リルアミド、ポリシロキサン、ポリウレタン、アクリル酸およびメタクリル酸の ポリマー、セルロース、ポリ無水物、ポリエステル、ポリ(ヒドロキシ酸)、なら びにそれらのブレンドおよびコポリマーからなる群から選択される、請求項1に 記載の方法。 10.前記ミクロスフェアが、治療剤または診断剤をさらに含む、請求項5に記 載の方法。 11.前記診断剤が、ガス、ガス発生剤、および放射線不透過化合物からなる群 から選択される、請求項10に記載の方法。 12.前記ポリマーが、治療剤を含有する薬物送達デバイスを規定またはコート する、請求項1に記載の方法。 13.前記ポリマーが、外科的インプラントデバイスを規定またはコートする、 請求項1に記載の方法。 14.前記ミクロスフェアが10μm以上の直径を有する、請求項1に記載の方法 。 15.前記ミクロスフェアが2〜5μmの間の直径を有する、請求項1に記載の 方法。 16.前記ミクロスフェアが2μm未満の直径を有する、請求項1に記載の方法 。 17.前記ミクロスフェアが1μm未満の直径を有する、請求項1に記載の方法 。 18.患者に治療剤または診断剤を送達するための方法であって、ミクロスフェ ア内の治療剤または診断剤を薬学的に受容可能なキャリア中で患者の粘膜に投与 する工程を包含し、ここで該ミクロスフェアの表面が、そこに組み込まれた該粘 膜への該ポリマーの接着を改善する無水物オリゴマーを有するポリマーを含み、 そしてここで該無水物オリゴマーが、無水物結合によって結合した20以下の二塩 基酸単位を含むか、または5000ダルトン以下の分子量を有する、方法。 19.前記ミクロスフェアが、経鼻投与、経膣投与、直腸投与、および経口投与 からなる群から選択される経路によって投与される、請求項18に記載の方法。 20.胃腸粘膜、気道粘膜、排泄管粘膜、生殖管粘膜からなる群から選択される 粘膜にミクロスフェア内の薬物を投与する工程を包含する、請求項18に記載の 方法。 21.前記ミクロスフェアが10μm以上の直径を有する、請求項18に記載の方 法。 22.前記ミクロスフェアが〜5μmの間の直径を有する、請求項18に記載の 方法。 23.前記ミクロスフェアが2μm未満の直径を有する、請求項18に記載の方 法。 24.前記ミクロスフェアが1μm未満の直径を有する、請求項18に記載の方 法。 25.ポリマーの粘膜への接着を改善するに有効な量で無水物オリゴマーを組み 込むポリマーを含む組成物であって、ここで該無水物オリゴマーが、無水物結合 によって結合した20以下の二塩基酸単位を含むか、または5000ダルトン以下の分 子量を有する、組成物。 26.前記無水物オリゴマーが、イオン相互作用または共有結合によって前記ポ リマーに結合する、請求項25に記載の組成物。 27.前記無水物オリゴマーが、フマル酸、マレイン酸、コハク酸、アジピン酸 、セバシン酸、およびカルボキシフェノール酸からなる群から選択されるジカル ボン酸モノマーを含む、請求項25に記載の組成物。 28.前記ポリマーがミクロスフェアの形態である、請求項25に記載の組成物 。 29.前記無水物オリゴマーが、ミクロスフェアの少なくとも表面上の粒子の微 細分散物の形態である、請求項28に記載の組成物。 30.前記無水物オリゴマーを組み込む前記ポリマーが、異なる材料から形成さ れるミクロスフェアの表面上にコートされる、請求項28に記載の組成物。 31.前記ポリマーが、タンパク質および多糖からなる群から選択される、請求 項25に記載の組成物。 32.前記ポリマーが、ポリアミド、ポリカーボネート、ポリアルキレン、ポリ アリールアルキレン、ポリアルキレングリコール、ポリアルキレンオキシド、ポ リアルキレンテレフタラート、ポリビニルポリマー、ポリホスファゼン、ポリア クリルアミド、ポリシロキサン、ポリウレタン、アクリル酸およびメタクリル酸 のポリマー、セルロース、ポリ無水物、ポリエステル、ポリ(ヒドロキシ酸)、な らびにそれらのブレンドおよびコポリマーからなる群から選択される、請求項2 5に記載の組成物。 33.前記ミクロスフェアが、治療剤または診断剤をさらに含む、請求項28に 記載の組成物。 34.前記診断剤が、ガス、ガス発生剤、および放射線不透過化合物からなる群 から選択される、請求項33に記載の組成物。 35.前記ポリマーが、治療剤を含有する薬物送達デバイスを規定またはコート する、請求項25に記載の組成物。 36.前記ミクロスフェアが10μm以上の直径を有する、請求項28に記載の組 成物。 37.前記ミクロスフェアが2〜5μmの間の直径を有する、請求項28に記載 の組成物。 38.前記ミクロスフェアが2μm未満の直径を有する、請求項28に記載の組 成物。 39.前記ミクロスフェアが1μm未満の直径を有する、請求項28に記載の組 成物。 40.生体接着性ミクロスフェアを形成する方法であって、5000ダルトン以下の 分子量を有する無水物オリゴマーの該ミクロスフェアを形成する工程を包含す る、方法。 41.前記ミクロスフェアが、治療剤または診断剤をさらに含む、請求項40に 記載の方法。
