Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.難燃剤または煙抑制剤の特性を有する固体化合物の微細に分割された粒子 であって、該粒子が0.5ミクロン未満の容量平均粒子サイズを有し、そして該粒 子が細分化により製造される、粒子。 2.前記粒子の少なくとも99%が1ミクロン未満である、請求項1に記載の微 細に分割された粒子。 3.前記固体化合物が、含水塩、有機ホスフェート、金属ボレート、ポリアミ ド、250℃を上回る融点を有する固体ハロゲン化難燃剤、モリブデン化合物、メ タロセン、アンチモン化合物、亜鉛化合物、およびビスマス化合物からなる群よ り選択される、請求項1に記載の微細に分割された粒子。 4.前記固体化合物が、アルミニウム三水和物、硫酸マグネシウム五水和物、 水酸化マグネシウム、水和炭酸マグネシウム、アンモニウムポリホスフェート、 メラミンピロホスフェート、バリウムメタボレート、メラミン、臭素化ポリマー 、エチレンビス-テトラブロモフタルアミド、デカブロモジフェニルエタン、ド デカクロロドデカヒドロジメタノジベンゾシクロオクタン、酸化モリブデン、ア ンモニウムオクタモリブデート、フェロセン、金属アンチモン、五酸化アンチモ ン、ナトリウムアンチモネート、亜鉛とマグネシウムとの混合金属酸化物、硫化 亜鉛、およびビスマスサブカルボネートからなる群より選択される、請求項1に 記載の微細に分割された粒子。 5.前記固体化合物がホウ酸亜鉛である、請求項1に記載の微細に分割された 粒子。 6.前記固体化合物がデカブロモジフェニルオキサイドである、請求項1に記 載の微細に分割された粒子。 7.前記化合物が三酸化アンチモンである、請求項1に記載の微細に分割され た粒子。 8.流体ビヒクル、分散剤、および請求項1に記載の粒子を含有する、分散体 。 9.前記流体ビヒクルが、有機液体、ポリビニルクロリド可塑剤、および低融 点ワックスまたは油脂からなる群より選択される、請求項8に記載の分散体。 10.前記流体ビヒクルが、ジメチルアセトアミド、エチレングリコール、お よびジイソデシルフタレートからなる群より選択される、請求項8に記載の分散 体。 11.前記流体ビヒクルが水である、請求項8に記載の分散体。 12.前記分散剤が、カチオン性界面活性剤、両性界面活性剤、および非イオ ン性界面活性剤からなる群より選択される、請求項8に記載の分散体。 13.前記分散剤が、湿潤剤およびアニオン性界面活性剤からなる群より選択 される、請求項8に記載の分散体。 14.難燃剤または煙抑制剤の特性を有する固体化合物の微細に分割された粒 子を製造するためのプロセスであって、 撹拌した媒体ミルを、細分化媒体、流体ビヒクル、および難燃剤または煙抑制 剤の特性を有する固体化合物の粒子とともに充填する工程;ならびに 該細分化媒体、流体ビヒクル、および粒子を、該粒子が少なくとも10%までの サイズに減り、そして0.5ミクロン未満の容量平均粒子サイズを有するまで撹拌 する工程であって、少なくとも99%の該粒子が1ミクロン未満のサイズにされる 、工程; を包含する、プロセス。 15.前記スラリーがさらに分散剤を含有する、請求項14に記載のプロセス 。 16.前記撹拌媒体ミルが、毎分1000フィートから6000フィートの範囲のチッ プ速度で操作される、請求項14に記載のプロセス。 17.前記細分化媒体が、該ミル内に約80%から92%のバルク容量を満たすに 充分な量で提供される、請求項14に記載のプロセス。 18.前記細分化媒体が、砂、ガラスビーズ、金属、およびセラミックからな る群より選択される、請求項14に記載のプロセス。 19.前記細分化媒体が、バリウムチタナイト、加鉛ソーダ石灰、ボロシリケ ート、炭素鋼、ステンレス鋼、タングステンカーバイド、ジルコニウムシリケー ト、およびアルミナからなる群より選択される、請求項18に記載のプロセス。 20.前記媒体がイットリウム安定化ジルコニウムオキサイドである、請求項 19に記載のプロセス。 21.前記固体化合物が、含水塩、有機ホスフェート、金属ボレート、ポリア ミド、250℃を上回る融点を有する固体ハロゲン化難燃剤、モリブデン化合物、 メタロセン、アンチモン化合物、亜鉛化合物、およびビスマス化合物からなる群 より選択される、請求項14に記載のプロセス。 22.前記固体化合物が、ホウ酸亜鉛、デカブロモジフェニルオキサイド、お よび三酸化アンチモンからなる群より選択される、請求項14に記載のプロセス 。 23.前記流体ビヒクルが、有機液体、ポリビニルクロリド可塑剤、および低 融点ワックスまたは油脂からなる群より選択される、請求項14に記載のプロセ ス。 24.前記流体ビヒクルが、ジメチルアセトアミド、エチレングリコール、お よびジイソデシルフタレートからなる群より選択される、請求項14に記載の分 散体。 25.前記流体ビヒクルが水である、請求項14に記載のプロセス。 26.前記分散剤が、カチオン性界面活性剤、両性界面活性剤、および非イオ ン性界面活性剤からなる群より選択される、請求項15に記載のプロセス。 27.前記分散剤が、湿潤剤およびアニオン性界面活性剤からなる群より選択 される、請求項14に記載のプロセス。 28.請求項14に記載のプロセスにより製造された、難燃剤または煙抑制剤 の特性を有する固体化合物の微細に分割された粒子。
