However, since the conventional seat receiving portion uses a round pipe member, the distance between the front and rear leg frames is reduced to improve the appearance, or the front and rear leg frames and the seat receiving portion in the folded state are used. In order to prevent interference and to fold thinly, it is inevitable to position the seat receiving portion inside the front and rear leg frames, and it is difficult to secure a wider width of the seat surface. Furthermore, in the conventional one, the seat receiving portion is cantilevered on the inner surface side of the leg frame via the support shaft portion, so that an excessive force is applied to the support shaft portion during the rotation operation or the seating. , Which may cause deformation or breakage.

The seat includes a seat receiving portion that supports a seat body, and the seat receiving portion is configured by arranging a pair of wall bodies having a surface portion extending substantially along the thickness direction of the seat so as to face each other. A first leg frame and a second leg frame between the walls in a folded state. One of the leg frames can be accommodated therein, and a support shaft that supports one end of the one leg frame so as to be rotatable in forward and reverse directions is supported by the two wall bodies. .

One of the leg frames and the seat receiving portion can be folded in a substantially overlapped state, and the area occupied by the leg frame and the seat receiving portion in the width direction in the folded state is reduced. Larger width dimension can be secured. Furthermore, since both ends of the support shaft are supported in a double-supported state by using the two wall bodies, both ends can be reliably and stably supported even during the rotation operation or the seating. Thus, deformation and breakage can be effectively prevented, and the durability of the chair can be effectively increased.
