Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an improved nut capable of maintaining a tightening force. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, maintaining a tightening force of a nut has been performed with a high tension bolt.
It was not done with general-purpose bolts and nuts. Generally, nuts are prevented from returning by maintaining the tightening force of the nuts, but each has its advantages and disadvantages, and none is definitive. For example, JP-A-7-279981
No. "Bearing nut" (hereinafter referred to as Reference 1)
There is disclosed a technique in which a slit groove is formed and a relief hole is formed at the tip thereof. Further, in Japanese Patent No. 2592031 "Return Lock Nut" (hereinafter referred to as Reference 2), there is disclosed a technique in which a small screw hole is provided on a side surface of a nut and a small screw is screwed to prevent the nut from returning. . [0005] However, in the above-mentioned prior art, the technique of Reference 1 involves an external fitting by a tapered collar, so that it is unavoidable that the cost increases. Reference 2
According to the technique of the above, since the thread is deformed by cutting or stretching the thread, it becomes difficult to remove the nut and is not suitable for reuse. Furthermore, the method of using a chrysanthemum nut or a bearing nut with a groove in the nut has limitations on the design because holes and grooves must be formed in the bolt according to the fixing position. Further, in the method of preventing the return of the nut which has been generally used in the past, particularly in the method of using a spring washer, the operation has been completed when the nut is screwed to the bolt and tightened. Therefore, maintenance of the clamping force was uncertain. In the case of maintaining with a double nut, two nuts are required, and since the two nuts are turned in the opposite direction and tightened, the tightening force (torque) is reduced by the fixing nut. For this reason, the tightening force (torque) of the tightening nut is increased by the amount of destruction, and the work and the bolt are overloaded. Also, the high tension bolt has a limited range of use and requires special tools, and thus lacks versatility. The present invention has been made to solve these disadvantages. [0004] A slit (2) is bored perpendicularly to an end surface of the nut (1) opposite to a surface in contact with the workpiece (8), and escapes to an end of the slit (2). Hole (4)
Is provided. The slit (2) is provided with a hole (5) and a small screw hole (6) vertically, a screw (3) is inserted from the hole (5) and screwed into the small screw hole (6). The present invention is a nut configured to maintain a tightening force as described above. [0005] Embodiments of the present invention will be described below. In practicing the present invention, a slit (2) is formed perpendicularly to an end surface of the nut (1) opposite to a surface in contact with the work (8). A relief hole (4) is provided at the end of the slit (2). The slit (2) is vertically provided with a hole (5) for attaching a screw (3) and a small screw hole (6). The work (8) is sandwiched between the bolt (7) and the nut (1), and the nut (1) is tightened. With the tightening force (torque) of the nut (1) maintained, the screw (3) is inserted from the hole (5) side. When the screw is screwed into the small screw hole (6) and the screw (3) is tightened, the slit (2) becomes narrower, so that the diameter of the screwing portion between the nut (1) and the bolt (7) is reduced. The gap between the screws is eliminated, and the nut (1) is fixed to the bolt (7). For the width of the slit (2), calculate the difference between the minimum dimension of the thread and the maximum dimension of the internal thread based on the JIS tolerance of the thread,
By setting the value to be equal to or more than the value obtained by multiplying the pi, the bolt and the nut can be completely adhered. However, in normal use, the reliability can be further improved by setting the value to which the interference is added. The relief hole (4) is provided to uniformly tighten the slit (3) and to reduce the concentration of stress generated at the end of the slit (3). Therefore, the diameter of the escape hole (4) is made larger than the width of the slit (3). The screw notch (9) is a notch provided for enabling the assembling work with the screw (3) mounted on the nut (1) in advance, and the head of the screw (3) has the nut (1). ) Must not be larger than the end. If a screw having a hexagonal hole is used, the screw notch (9) can be reduced. The present invention is configured as described above. According to the present invention, the nut can be fixed to the bolt while maintaining the tightening force of the bolt and the nut on the work, so that the mechanical strength of the bolt can be ensured as designed. That is, it is efficient because an optimal design can be performed. Furthermore, since it can be fixed at any position on the screw, it can be used for positioning.
In this case, in the case of a commercially available screw fixing type collar, the position of the collar is held by the frictional force with the shaft due to the tightening of the collar, whereas in the present invention, the collar is fixed by the surface of the screw, so that it is fixed in the axial direction. The gap is almost nil. Further, since the force can be received by the screw surface, the force in the axial direction larger than the frictional force can be received. In the present invention, if the nut body is a general-purpose product and is a commercially available JIS standard bolt, it can be easily mounted and removed at any place without any modification. In addition, the bolts and nuts can be used repeatedly because they do not damage the bolts and nuts, so that the flexibility is high and the versatility is not hindered, so that it is economical.
