Description of the Related Art Regarding negative ion effects, effects on the human body such as promotion of blood circulation and improvement of metabolism, bactericidal effects, electrostatic effects, etc. have been confirmed, and treatment tools, bedding such as mats, breeding aquariums and It is used in vase purification equipment.
In such a negative ion generator, a conductor portion formed of a plate-like body, a net-like sheet body, a heating wire or the like is set to a negative potential to generate negative ions from the conductor portion. At that time, in order to apply a high voltage to the conductor, a transformer is used to boost and rectify the voltage. As a power source for such a negative ion generator, a general commercial power source is used. However, the commercial power source has two terminals, one of which is on the live line side and the other of which is on the ground line side. It is necessary to connect the conductor part that generates negative ions with. However, it is not possible to confirm which of the two terminals of the commercial power source is the live line side from the outside, and unless the power plug of the negative ion generator is inserted, the live line terminal and the negative ion It is not possible to confirm that the generated conductor is connected.

Therefore, a heating tool that generates negative ions while generating heat is described. Further, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 63-59973, a negative potential generating circuit is connected to each of two terminals of a power plug, and a negative potential generating circuit that generates a smooth negative potential is connected to an electric floor body. A home electric potential therapy device is described. As another method, by connecting the terminal of the power plug to the conductor through a diode or the like, full-wave rectification is performed from the power supply to supply to the conductor regardless of which terminal is on the live line side. It has also been proposed (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-53).

Otherwise, there is a problem that sufficient negative ions are not generated from the conductor part. for that reason,
It is necessary to provide a transformer space inside the device, which makes the device itself large, and also makes the entire device heavy. Further, since the transformer is used, the power consumption is increased and the circuit design is also restricted, so that the complicated circuit configuration as in the above-described conventional technique is inevitable. Furthermore, in order to make the voltage high, it is necessary to take safety measures against electric shock. Even in the method of performing full-wave rectification using a diode, power consumption increases and a voltage drop is inevitable. Due to the voltage drop, negative ions cannot be sufficiently generated in the conductor portion. In order to overcome these drawbacks of conventional negative ion generators, by using a non-woven fabric made of copper fiber as a conductor part for generating negative ions, it is possible to use conventional negative ion generators without using a high voltage transformer. It is possible to generate the same amount of negative ions as the generator.

The hot-line automatic switching circuit 3 is connected to the rectifier circuit 31 connected to the terminal 1b of the two terminals 1a and 1b of the power plug 1, the level comparison circuit 32 connected to the rectification circuit 31, and the level comparison circuit 32. The detection signal holding circuit 33 and the switching circuit 34. The level comparison circuit 32 and the detection signal holding circuit 33 correspond to the level detection circuit of the present invention. The switching circuit 34 includes a conductor portion 2 and a terminal 1a,
It operates so as to be connected to any terminal of 1b. A power-on timer circuit 36 is connected to the switching circuit 34, and sends a signal for operating the switching circuit 34 at a predetermined timing after the power is turned on. Power-on timer circuit 3
A gate 35 is provided between the switch 6 and the switching circuit 34, and the gate 35 disconnects the connection between the power-on timer circuit 36 and the switching circuit 34 in response to the output signal from the detection signal holding circuit 33. To do. Here, the conductor portion 2 is, for example,
A conductor in various forms such as a plate-like body made of a conductive material, a sheet body made of conductive fibers, and a sheet body formed by wiring a conductive wire can be used without any particular limitation. Although not shown, the conductor portion 2 is configured to generate negative ions based on the negative potential rectified by the rectifier circuit when connected to the commercial power source as in the conventional technique.

It is designed to be connected to b. Then, when the power plug 1 is inserted into the commercial power source and the power is turned on by a power switch (not shown), (A) the terminal 1a is on the live line side and the terminal 1b is on the ground line side (B). ) Terminal 1

First, since the rectifier circuit 31 is connected to the terminal 1b, the rectifier circuit 31 is located on the ground line side, and no signal is output from the rectifier circuit 31. Since no signal is output from the rectifier circuit 31, the level comparison circuit 32 and the detection signal holding circuit 33 do not operate (output of a low level detection signal), and the gate 35 connects the power-on timer circuit 36 and the switching circuit 34. Maintain the condition.
On the other hand, the power-on timer circuit 36 outputs a signal for operating the switching circuit 34 at a predetermined timing,
From the gate 35 to the switching circuit 34, the switching circuit 34
Performs a switching operation so as to connect the terminal 1a and the conductor portion 2. Therefore, the terminal 1a on the live line side and the conductor portion 2 are connected to generate negative ions.

The level comparison circuit 32 outputs a level detection signal in response to the signal from the rectifier circuit 31, and the detection signal holding circuit 33 operates in response to the detection signal (output of a high level detection signal).
Once activated, the detection signal holding circuit 33 continues to output a signal to the gate 35 until the power is cut off. Therefore, since the connection between the power-on timer circuit 36 and the switching circuit 34 is cut off until the power is cut off by the gate 35, the signal output from the power-on timer circuit 36 at a predetermined timing is sent to the switching circuit 34. The switching circuit 34 is not sent out, and is kept in the initial state where the terminal 1b and the conductor portion 2 are connected. In this way, the terminal 1b on the live line side and the conductor portion 2 are connected to generate negative ions.

Although the switching circuit 34 is operated by using the gate 35 and the power-on timer circuit 36 in the above-described embodiment, the switching circuit 34 is directly operated by a signal from the level detection circuit (the level comparison circuit 32 and the detection signal holding circuit 33). The switching circuit 34 may be operated, and if the switching circuit operates based on the high level detection signal or the low level detection signal from the level detection circuit, the circuit configuration other than the above-described embodiment may be used.
