- 前記第1の基準構造が、第1のパターンを形成する非直線的に配置された少なくとも三つの基準要素を含み、前記第2の基準構造が、第2のパターンを形成する非直線的に配置された少なくとも三つの基準要素を含み、前記第1のパターンと前記第2のパターンが区別可能である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のインプラントが、近位大腿骨に挿入するのに適するように構成された複数の股関節ステムを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の基準構造が操作器具の予め定められた位置に取り外し可能に取り付けられ、前記操作器具が前記複数のインプラントの各々に取り外し可能に取り付けられ得る取付部を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のインプラントが、近位大腿骨に挿入するのに適するように構成された複数の股関節ステムを含む、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 異なるサイズの複数の股関節ステムの各々が、幹部及び頸部を形成する概略L字形状の形態を有し、前記幹部が遠位端部及び近位端部を有し、前記股関節ステムの各々が前記操作器具に取り付け可能な取り付け接触面を含み、前記取り付け接触面が前記股関節ステムの前記近位端部の近傍に配置され、前記記録装置が、前記複数の股関節ステムのうちの第1の股関節ステム及び第2の股関節ステムの遠位端部を受容するための少なくとも一つの目盛り付き空間を形成し、前記第1の股関節ステム及び第2の股関節ステムが前記少なくとも一つの目盛り付き空間内で前記記録装置と係合し、前記第1の股関節ステム及び第2の股関節ステムの前記係合部が、それぞれ、前記第1の基準構造から第1の距離及び第2の距離に配置され、前記第1の距離及び第2の距離が等しくない、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の股関節ステムの各々が、前記頸部に設けられた突起を含み、前記突起が共通の形態を有し、前記基準部材が、予め定められた第2の相対的位置で前記突起と係合するための係合部を含む、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムにおいて整形外科インプラントを記録するためのシステムであって、前記インプラントが骨に移植するのに適するように構成されており、該システムが、
各々が幹部軸線を規定する細長い幹部を有した異なるサイズの複数の整形外科インプラントと、
前記複数のインプラントの各々の前記幹部軸線に沿って予め定められた第1の相対的位置で前記複数のインプラントの各々の前記幹部と係合可能な記録装置と、
前記コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムにおいて記録可能な少なくとも一つの基準要素を有し、前記記録装置の予め定められた場所に設けられる第1の基準構造と、
を備えるシステム。 - 前記第1の基準構造が非直線的に配置された少なくとも三つの基準要素を含む、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムにおいて記録可能な少なくとも一つの基準要素を有し、前記複数のインプラントの各々に取り外し可能に取り付けられ得る第2の基準構造をさらに備える、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記インプラントの各々が前記幹部軸線に対して所定の角度に延びる突起をさらに備え、前記記録装置が予め定められた第2の相対的位置で前記突起の各々と係合可能な係合部をさらに備え、前記幹部軸線に対する前記突起の回転方向の向きを決定することができる、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のインプラントが近位大腿骨に挿入するのに適するように構成された複数の股関節ステムを含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記記録装置が前記幹部と係合するための少なくとも一つの目盛り付き空間を備える、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記記録装置が、前記複数のインプラントの前記幹部に係合するための異なるサイズの複数の目盛り付き空間を備える、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムが前記コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムにおいて記録可能な少なくとも一つの基準要素を有した第2の基準構造をさらに備え、該第2の基準構造が操作器具の予め定められた場所に取り外し可能に取り付けられ、前記操作器具が前記複数のインプラントの各々に取り外し可能に取り付けられ得る取付部を有する、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムにおいて整形外科インプラントを記録するための方法であって、該方法が、
幹部軸線を規定し且つ遠位端部及び近位端部を有する幹部であって該遠位端部が前記近位端部よりも断面積が小さくなっている幹部を有するインプラントを提供するステップと、
前記コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムにおいて記録可能な少なくとも一つの基準要素を含んだ第1の基準構造を有し且つ予め定められた軸線方向の場所で前記幹部と係合可能である記録装置を提供するステップと、
前記コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムにおいて記録可能な少なくとも一つの基準要素を含んだ第2の基準構造が取り付けられている操作器具を前記インプラントに取り付けるステップと、
前記インプラントを前記操作器具に取り付けた状態で予め定められた軸線方向の場所で前記記録装置を前記インプラントと係合させ、前記コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムにおいて前記第1の基準構造及び第2の基準構造の位置を記録するステップと、
前記第2の基準構造に対するインプラント幹部の相対的位置を決定するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記第2の基準構造に対する前記インプラント幹部の相対的位置を決定する前記ステップの後、前記インプラント幹部から前記記録装置を外すステップをさらに含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記インプラントが前記幹部軸線に対して所定の角度に延びる突起を含み、前記方法が、予め定められた相対的位置で前記記録装置を前記突起と係合させ、前記コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムにおいて前記第1の基準構造と第2の基準構造の相対的位置を記録するステップと、前記幹部軸線に対する前記突起の回転方向位置を決定するステップとをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 複数のインプラントが提供され、前記インプラントの各々が、幹部軸線を規定する異なるサイズのテーパ状幹部を有し、前記幹部の各々が遠位端部及び近位端部を有し、前記遠位端部は前記近位端部より断面積が小さく、前記操作器具が前記インプラントの各々の予め定められた場所に取り付け可能であり、該方法は、前記インプラントの中から、前記操作器具に取り付け且つ前記記録装置と係合させるための一つを選択するステップをさらに含み、前記第2の構造に対する前記インプラント幹部の相対的位置を決定する前記ステップが前記第1の基準構造と前記第2の基準構造との間の距離に基づいて前記選択されたインプラントのサイズを決定するステップをさらに含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記記録装置が少なくとも一つの目盛り付き空間を形成し、前記記録装置を前記インプラントと係合させる前記ステップが、前記目盛り付き空間に前記テーパ状幹部を挿入するステップを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムに使用するための組立体であって、
整形外科インプラントと、
前記整形外科インプラントに取り外し可能に取り付けられる少なくとも一つのワイヤループと、
前記ワイヤループと前記コンピュータ支援ナビゲーションシステムとの間に機能上結合され、前記ワイヤループによって感知される磁場を示す信号を前記ワイヤループから前記ナビゲーションシステムに通信する通信手段と、
を備える組立体。 - 前記通信手段が前記ワイヤループに機能上結合された通信ケーブルを含む、請求項22に記載の組立体。
- 前記少なくとも一つのワイヤループが少なくとも二つのワイヤループを含み、前記ワイヤループの各々がループ軸線を規定し、前記ワイヤループが相対的に固定された位置に配置され、前記ループ軸線が互いに直角を成す向きに配置される、請求項22に記載の組立体。
- 前記少なくとも一つのワイヤループが前記インプラントに取り外し可能に取り付けられる外科器具に取り付けられる、請求項22に記載の組立体。
