Abstract

Claims (1)
- a)アレイ状発光画素を含む表示装置であって、各画素が、色域を特定する色の異なる光を放出するための複数のOLEDと、該色域内の色の光を放出するための少なくとも1つの追加のOLEDとを有し、該追加のOLEDのパワー効率が該複数のOLEDの少なくとも1つのパワー効率より高い表示装置;
b)該追加のOLEDにより付与される該表示装置の光出力に対する寄与量を示す制御信号を発生するための手段;並びに
c)該表示装置の各画素について得るべき相対輝度及び色を代表する標準色画像信号を受信して該表示装置のOLEDを駆動するための変換色画像信号を発信するための表示ドライバであって、該制御信号に応じ、該表示装置のパワー効率を高めること及び/又は該表示装置の劣化速度を低めることができるように該追加のOLEDにより得られる光量を制御するための表示ドライバ
を含んでなるOLED表示システム。
