Abstract
【解決手段】基板10の厚さを貫いて延在し、インク供給源と複数のインク噴射素子との間に液通を提供する少なくとも1つのインク供給スロット12を有する基板10を備えるインクジェットプリントヘッドであって、インク供給スロット12は、フィルターを形成する複数のインク給送穴42が開いている選択的に露光され現像されるレジスト材料で、少なくともその深さの一部まで満たされている。

Description
本発明はインクジェットプリントヘッドに関し、かつそのようなプリントヘッドを製造する方法に関する。
Claims (14)
- 基板の厚さを貫いて延在し、インク供給源と複数のインク噴射素子との間に液通を提供する少なくとも1つのインク供給スロットを有する基板を備えるインクジェットプリントヘッドであって、前記インク供給スロットは、フィルターを形成する複数のインク給送穴が開いている選択的に露光され現像されるレジスト材料で、少なくともその深さの一部まで満たされている、インクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記インク給送穴の断面は略正多角形である、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記インク給送穴の断面は略正六角形である、請求項2に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記インク噴射素子は前記基板の1つの表面上に配列され、前記レジスト材料は前記1つの表面と略同一平面上にある、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記レジスト材料は、前記インク供給スロットの前記深さの一部のみを満たすものである、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記インク給送穴の断面はテーパ状である、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記インク給送穴の断面積は、前記インク噴射素子から遠ざかるにつれて大きくなっている、請求項6に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記複数のインク噴射素子は、前記基板の1つの表面上で、前記インク供給スロットの横に配列され、前記プリントヘッドはさらに、前記基板の前記1つの表面および前記インク噴射素子を覆う構造を有し、該構造は、それぞれ前記インク噴射素子に関連する複数のインク噴射チャンバと、前記インク供給スロットから前記インク噴射素子までのインク供給経路と、それぞれ個々のインク噴射チャンバから前記構造の露出した外面まで通じている複数のインク噴射オリフィスとを画定している、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 基板の厚さを貫いて延在し、インク供給源と複数のインク噴射素子との間に液通を提供する少なくとも1つのインク供給スロットを有する基板を設けること、前記インク供給スロットを、少なくともその深さの一部までレジスト材料で満たすこと、および前記レジスト材料を選択的に露光して現像し、フィルターを形成する複数のインク給送穴を設けることを含む、インクジェットプリントヘッドを製造する方法。
- 前記インク供給スロットを、少なくともその深さの一部までレジスト材料で満たす前記段階は、前記基板の1つの表面に密着シート材料を貼ること、前記インク供給スロットを前記基板の反対側の表面から流動可能なレジスト材料で少なくとも部分的に満たすこと、選択的に露光し現像することができるという前記レジスト材料の能力をなくすことなく、前記レジスト材料を硬化するよう処理すること、および前記密着シート材料を取り除くことを含む、請求項9に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドを製造する方法。
- 前記インク噴射素子は前記基板の1つの表面上に配列され、それぞれ前記インク噴射素子に関連する複数のインク噴射チャンバであって、前記1つの表面上にレジスト層を設けること、および該レジスト層を選択的に露光して現像することによって少なくとも部分的に形成されるインク噴射チャンバを形成することをさらに含む、請求項10に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドを製造する方法。
- 前記レジスト層は液体として施される、請求項11に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドを製造する方法。
- 前記レジスト層はドライシート材料として施される、請求項11に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドを製造する方法。
- 少なくとも1つのインク槽からプリントヘッドにインクを供給する少なくとも1つの開口部を有するカートリッジ本体と、該カートリッジ本体上に取付けられた請求項1に記載のプリントヘッドとを備え、前記少なくとも1つの開口部は前記プリントヘッドの前記少なくとも1つのインク供給スロットに液通している、プリントカートリッジ。
