Abstract
【解決手段】 めっき鋼板を基材とし、有機樹脂,バルブメタル化合物,アンモニウム塩及び/又はアミン類を含む化成皮膜が基材表面に形成されており、化成皮膜中の全窒素に対するNCO基を構成する窒素の比率(窒素比)が0.8〜0.95の範囲に調整されている。バルブメタル化合物にはTi,Zr,Hf,V,Nb,Mo,W,Si,Al等の酸化物,水酸化物,フッ化物等があり、少なくとも1種が酸化性を有する酸素酸塩であることが好ましい。

Description
めっき鋼板をクロメート処理することにより白錆を防止できるが、クロメート処理では有害なCrイオンを含む廃液の処理にかかる負担が大きいので、Crイオンを含まない水系処理液を用いた化成処理がクロメート処理の代替として注目されている。
バルブメタルにはTi,Zr,Hf,V,Nb,Mo,W,Si,Alから選ばれた1種又は2種以上が使用され、酸化物,水酸化物,酸素酸塩,フッ化物等として配合される。バルブメタル化合物は、少なくとも1種が酸化性を有する酸素酸塩であることが好ましい。

また、めっき層に高い反応性を示す酸化性のある酸素酸塩をバルブメタル化合物として添加することにより、基材/化成皮膜の界面にめっき成分を含む反応層が形成され、皮膜密着性,耐食性,耐アルカリ性が更に向上する。

化成皮膜中で解離しているアンモニウムイオン,アミンイオンは、透過水分との反応でアンモニウム塩,アミノ化合物となって皮膜/めっき層の界面に再析出し、めっき層の腐食を抑制する。アンモニウム塩,アミノ化合物の再析出は、化成皮膜のピンホールや加工時に生じた皮膜欠陥部等を自己修復し、皮膜欠陥を介して露出するめっき層を腐食性雰囲気から保護する。
酸化性を有する酸素酸塩は、化成皮膜のピンホールや加工時に生じた皮膜欠陥を介してめっき層が露出している部分に溶出してめっき層を酸化する作用も呈する。めっき成分とバルブメタル化合物との反応生成物でめっき層の露出部が覆われるので、化成皮膜が自己修復され、良好な耐食性が持続する。自己修復作用は、可溶性塩を作りやすいアンモニウム塩,アミン類との組合せによっても助長される。
有機樹脂としてはウレタン系,アクリル系,エポキシ系,オレフィン系から選ばれた一種又は二種以上の水溶性又は水分散性樹脂が好ましく、なかでも有機ポリイソシアネート化合物とポリオール化合物とを反応して得られる水溶性又は水分散性のウレタン樹脂,特に自己乳化型ウレタン樹脂が好適である。
化成処理液の有機樹脂濃度は、好ましくは1〜400g/lの範囲で調整される。有機樹脂濃度:1g/l以上で品質に見合った十分な膜厚を確保できるが、400g/lを超える高濃度では化成処理液の長期安定性が低下する虞がある。
バルブメタル化合物として酸化性のある六価モリブデン,六価タングステン,五価バナジウム等の酸化物や酸素酸塩を配合すると、化成皮膜のピンホールや加工時に生じた皮膜欠陥等を介してめっき層が露出している部分に溶出してめっき層を酸化(バルブメタル化合物は還元)し、めっき成分,バルブメタル化合物の化合物を再析出させる自己修復作用が発現する。酸素酸塩にはアンモニウム塩,アルカリ金属塩,アルカリ土類金属塩,水素酸塩等があり、特に六価モリブデン,五価バナジウムのアンモニウム塩が好適である。
アンモニウム塩,アミン類の配合量は、N換算:0.05〜50g/lの範囲で選定することが好ましい。0.05g/l以上の配合量で、有機樹脂の官能基との反応が十分に進行し、耐アルカリ性が向上する。しかし、50g/lを超えて過剰添加すると、フリーのアンモニウム塩,アミン類が多くなり、耐水性,耐食性の低下が懸念される。
更に、基材に対する化成皮膜の密着性を改善するため、シランカップリング剤を添加しても良い。シランカップリング剤には、アミノ基,エポキシ基,ビニル基,メルカプト基,アクリロイルオキシ基,アルコキシ基等の官能基をもつ常用の化合物を使用できる。
化成処理液の塗布量は、乾燥後に膜厚0.1〜5μmの化成皮膜が形成される量に調整される。化成皮膜は、0.1μm以上の膜厚で十分な環境遮断能を呈するが、5μmを超える厚膜で形成しても膜厚増加に見合った性能の向上が期待できず、却って化成処理液の多量消費による処理コストの上昇を招く。
A:付着量20g/m2,板厚0.8mmの電気亜鉛めっき鋼板
B:付着量20g/m2,板厚0.8mmの溶融Zn-6質量%Al-3質量%Mg合金めっき鋼板
C:付着量40g/m2,板厚0.8mmの溶融Zn-55質量%Al合金めっき鋼板
D:付着量40g/m2,板厚0.8mmの溶融Al-9質量%Si合金めっき鋼板
また、次の試験で平坦部耐食性,加工部耐食性,耐アルカリ性を調査した。
試験片の端面をシールし、JIS Z2371に準拠して35℃の5%NaCl水溶液を噴霧した。塩水噴霧を所定時間継続した後、試験片表面を観察した。試験片表面に発生している白錆の面積率を測定し、白錆発生面積率が5%以下を◎,5〜10%を○,10〜30%を△,30〜50%を▲,50%以上を×として平坦部の耐食性を評価した。
エリクセン試験機を用いて試験片を7mm押出加工することによりめっき層にクラックを入れた後、JIS Z2371に準拠して35℃の5%NaCl水溶液を噴霧した。塩水噴霧を所定時間継続した後、試験片の加工部表面を観察した。加工部表面に発生している白錆の面積率を測定し、白錆発生面積率が5%以下を◎,5〜10%を○,10〜30%を△,30〜50%を▲,50%以上を×として加工部耐食性を評価した。
アルカリ脱脂液(パルクリーン364S:日本パーカライジング株式会社製)20g/lを用い、60℃に保持したアルカリ脱脂液に試験片を2分浸漬した後、アルカリ脱脂液から引き上げた試験片を水洗,乾燥した。乾燥後の試験片を平坦部腐食試験に供し、同じ基準で評価した平坦部耐食性をもって耐アルカリ性を判定した。
Claims (4)
- めっき鋼板を基材とし、有機樹脂,バルブメタル化合物,アンモニウム塩及び/又はアミン類を含む化成皮膜が基材表面に形成されており、化成皮膜中の全窒素に対するNCO基を構成する窒素の比率(窒素比)が0.8〜0.95の範囲にあることを特徴とする耐食性,耐アルカリ性に優れた化成処理鋼板。
- 有機樹脂が水溶性又は水分散性のウレタン樹脂である請求項1記載の化成処理鋼板。
- バルブメタルがTi,Zr,Hf,V,Nb,Mo,W,Si,Alから選ばれた1種又は2種以上である請求項1記載の化成処理鋼板。
- バルブメタル化合物の少なくとも1種が酸化性を有する酸素酸塩である請求項1記載の化成処理鋼板。
