Abstract
【解決手段】ガラス板成形装置10は、プレス型11と、カバー材12と、カバー材取り付け枠15と、支持枠14とを備える。支持枠14は、矢印Bの方向にガラス板20を支持しながら駆動し、支持枠14に周囲を支持されたガラス板20をカバー材12を介してプレス型11に押し付けることによりプレスして曲げる。また、プレス型11に設けられた多数の貫通孔11bは、真空装置の吸引力により軟化したガラス板20を吸引して、プレス型11の湾曲面11aに沿ったカバー材12に吸着させる。カバー材12は、カバー材12のうねり12aの方向がガラス板20の歪み20aの方向に対して斜めになるようにカバー材取り付け枠15に保持されてプレス型11に装着される。

Claims (8)
- ガラス板を成形可能な温度に加熱する加熱ステップと、
プレス型にカバー材を装着するカバー材装着ステップと、
前記プレス型により前記加熱されたガラス板をプレスするプレス成形ステップとを備えた曲げガラス板の成形方法において、
前記カバー材装着ステップにおいて、前記カバー材が有するうねりの方向が、前記ガラス板が有する歪みの方向に対して斜めになるように、前記プレス型に前記カバー材を装着することを特徴とする曲げガラス板の成形方法。 - 前記ガラス板はフロート法により製造され、前記ガラス板が有する歪みの方向は前記フロート法におけるガラス素地の流れ方向と同一であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の曲げガラス板の成形方法。
- 前記プレスされたガラス板を前記カバー材を介して吸引してプレス型に吸着させる真空成形ステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の曲げガラス板の成形方法。
- 前記ガラス板が有する歪みの方向に対する前記カバー材が有するうねりの方向の角度は、5〜45°であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の曲げガラス板の成形方法。
- 前記カバー材は、金属繊維の編布からなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の曲げガラス板の成形方法。
- 編目を有するカバー材が装着されたプレス型を用いて加熱成形された車両の窓に用いられる曲げガラス板において、直行ニコル法により観察される前記曲げガラス板の縞模様が、前記曲げガラス板を前記車両の窓に設置したときに前記曲げガラス板の縦方向に対して斜めであることを特徴とする曲げガラス板。
- 前記車両の窓に設置したときの前記曲げガラス板の縦方向又は横方向は、前記曲げガラス板の製造時のガラス素地の流れ方向と同一であることを特徴とする請求項6記載の曲げガラス板。
- 前記曲げガラス板は合わせガラスであることを特徴とする請求項6又は7記載の曲げガラス板。
