Description

The present invention relates to an electronic device including an electronic component fixed so that a lead is electrically connected to an electrode terminal.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in an electronic device, a capacitor (electrolytic capacitor) may be housed in a housing portion and electrically connected to an electrode terminal with a capacitor lead bent in an L shape. In this case, since there is a dimensional tolerance between the housing part and the capacitor, when the electronic component is housed in the housing part, there is a gap (backlash) between the capacitor and the housing part. Therefore, when connecting the lead and the electrode terminal, the operator performs the connection work while holding the electronic component so that the connection position of the lead and the electrode is not shifted, or the capacitor and the housing portion. A spacer for filling a gap existing between the two is disposed.

Conventionally, there has been proposed an electronic device that can hold an electronic component when the electronic component is electrically connected to an electrode without being held by an operator (see Patent Document 1). In the electronic device 100 described in Patent Document 1, as shown in FIG. 4, a pair of width direction guides 102 that abut in the width direction of the electronic component 101 are integrally formed on the terminal board 103. Then, when the lead 104 of the electronic component 101 is electrically connected to the electrode terminal 105, the electronic component 101 is fitted to the pair of width direction guides 102, thereby holding the position of the electronic component 101. Further, in the electronic device described in Patent Document 1, the electronic component 101 is prevented from being detached from the terminal board 103 by the retaining protrusion 107 formed on the upper end portions of the pair of longitudinal fitting pieces 106 as shown in FIG. It is preventing.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-312486

However, in the conventional electronic device, since the dimensional tolerance of the capacitor and the dimensional tolerance of the housing portion are affected, the connection position between the lead and the electrode terminal may deviate from the preset position. In the configuration in which the lead is bent in an L shape, there is a case where a tensile force is applied to the lead while the lead is electrically connected to the electrode terminal when the displacement of the connection position is large. Further, even if the spacer is arranged in the gap, the operator may forget to arrange the spacer, and the gap may remain. In this state, when the electronic device is used in a vibration state, stress concentrates on the base end portion of the lead, and the durability of the capacitor is lowered.

In the electronic device 100 described in Patent Document 1, the electronic component 101 and the pair of longitudinal fitting pieces are affected by the tolerance of the dimension T1 in the electronic component 101 and the tolerance of the dimension T2 between the pair of longitudinal fitting pieces 106. There is a gap with 106. Since the lead 104 is connected to the electrode terminal 105 in a state of being straightly extended, when the electronic device 100 is used in a vibration state, the electronic component 101 and the pair of longitudinal fitting pieces 106 are connected to the electronic component 101. Vibrates in the gap existing between them, stress concentrates on the base end portion of the lead 104 and the durability of the electronic component 101 decreases.

The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and the object thereof is to use it in a vibrating state without being affected by the dimensional tolerance of the electronic component when electrically connecting the lead and the electrode terminal. Even so, an object of the present invention is to provide an electronic device in which stress is not concentrated on the base end portion of the lead. Another object of the present invention is to provide an electronic device that can improve the reliability of the connection portion between the lead and the electrode terminal.

The invention according to claim 1 is an electronic device including a housing in which an electronic component including a lead is accommodated and an electrode terminal, the housing including a wall portion positioned on a protruding side of the lead, and the wall A support portion that supports the electronic component, and the electrode terminal is provided on a protruding side of the lead of the electronic component, and the housing places the electronic component accommodated on the protruding side of the lead. It further includes a pressing portion that is pressed toward the electrode terminal side surface of the wall portion, and the lead is electrically connected to the electrode terminal by accommodating the electronic component. And

According to this configuration, when the lead protruding from the electronic component is electrically connected to the electrode terminal, the surface of the wall portion on the electrode terminal side is used as the reference surface, and the electronic component is pressed against the reference surface. be able to. Therefore, when the lead and the electrode terminal are electrically connected, it is not necessary to take into account the dimensional tolerance of the electronic component itself, and the error in the position where the lead and the electrode terminal are electrically connected is reduced. That is, it is possible to easily connect at a position where the lead and the electrode terminal can be reliably connected.

In addition, since the electronic component is pressed against the surface of the wall on the electrode terminal side, even if the electronic device is used in a vibrating state, the electronic component is prevented from rattling in the housing portion, and the lead and the electrode terminal The reliability at the connecting portion can be improved.

The invention according to claim 2 is characterized in that, in the invention according to claim 1, the lead has a bent portion, and is fixed to the electrode terminal on the tip side from the bent portion.
According to this configuration, when the electronic device vibrates and the electrode terminal vibrates, the vibration is transmitted from the fixing portion to the lead, so that stress is generated in the lead. According to this configuration, since the stress generated by the vibration of the lead is absorbed by the bent portion of the lead, the stress generated in the lead is not concentrated on the base end portion of the lead. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the electronic component from being damaged from the base end portion, and it is possible to improve the durability of the electronic device as compared with the case where the lead is straightly connected to the electrode terminal.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the second aspect of the present invention, a distance of a horizontal component from a proximal end portion of the lead to a distal end portion of the lead in a state where the electronic component is accommodated in the housing is the electronic component. The gist of the invention is that the lead is connected to the electrode terminal in a state where the distance is shorter than the distance of the horizontal component from the base end portion of the lead to the tip end portion of the lead before the component is accommodated in the housing. .

Here, “the distance of the horizontal component from the base end portion of the lead to the tip end portion of the lead” means the distance from a virtual plane perpendicular to the base end portion of the lead to the tip end portion of the lead. According to this configuration, the lead is connected to the electrode terminal in a state where the electrode terminal is pressed against the lead. Therefore, the lead and the electrode terminal can be connected in a state where no force acts in a direction in which the leads and the electrode terminals are separated from each other.

The invention according to claim 4 is the invention according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein a restriction groove for restricting the lead is formed in the wall portion, and the restriction groove is The gist is that the lead extends toward the electrode terminal so as to guide the lead to a position facing the electrode terminal.

According to this configuration, when the electronic component is accommodated in the housing, the lead is automatically guided while being regulated so as to be directed to the electrode terminal when the lead is placed in the regulation groove and placed in the accommodation groove, and the lead is the electrode terminal. It will be in the state of facing. Therefore, the connection work for electrically connecting the lead and the electrode terminal can be easily performed.

The invention according to claim 5 is characterized in that, in the invention according to any one of claims 1 to 4, the lead is electrically connected to the electrode terminal by resistance welding. .

According to this configuration, the connection work time can be shortened as compared with the case where the lead and the electrode terminal are electrically connected by soldering. Moreover, since the time for performing welding is short, it is possible to suppress the thermal effect on the surroundings during welding work.

The invention according to claim 6 is summarized in that, in the invention according to any one of claims 1 to 5, the electronic component is a capacitor.
According to this configuration, when a capacitor as an electronic component is used, the operational effects corresponding to claims 1 to 5 can be obtained.

According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, in the invention according to any one of the first to sixth aspects, the pressing portion presses the edge of the capacitor opposite to the protruding side of the lead. It is a summary.

Usually, a capacitor (aluminum electrolytic capacitor) is provided with an explosion-proof valve at the center of the end of the capacitor to prevent destruction. According to this invention, since the pressing portion presses the edge of the end opposite to the protruding side of the capacitor lead, it is avoided that the pressing portion hinders the operation of the explosion-proof valve provided in the capacitor. Is done.

According to the present invention, when the lead and the electrode terminal are electrically connected, there is no influence of the dimensional tolerance of the electronic component, and even if the electronic device is used in a vibration state, the base end portion of the lead is not affected. Concentration of stress can be suppressed. Another object of the present invention is to improve the reliability at the connection portion between the lead and the electrode terminal, compared with the reliability at the connection portion between the straight lead and the electrode terminal.

Hereinafter, an embodiment embodying the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
As shown in FIG. 1, the electronic device includes a resin case 1 as a housing. The resin case 1 is an integrally molded product. The resin case 1 includes a plurality of accommodating portions 2 arranged in parallel. An electrolytic capacitor 3 is accommodated in the accommodating portion 2. In FIG. 1, in order to illustrate the internal structure of the housing portion 2, the housing portion 2 in a state where the electrolytic capacitor 3 is not housed is also partially illustrated.

The electrolytic capacitor 3 includes a cylindrical body portion 10 and leads 20. A pair of leads 20 protrude from the front end portion 10 a of the body portion 10. Further, the body portion 10 includes an explosion-proof valve (not shown) at a rear end portion 10b that is an end portion on the opposite side to the protruding side of the lead 20. The explosion-proof valve is disposed at the center of the rear end portion 10b.

The lead 20 is a flexible metal terminal and is bent in a substantially L shape. The pair of leads 20 are provided in parallel with each other at a predetermined interval.
As shown in FIG. 1, the resin case 1 is provided with a front wall 40 as a wall portion so as to face the front end portion 10 a of the body portion 10, and the rear wall so as to face the rear end portion 10 b of the body portion 10. 30 is provided. A support 50 is provided between the front wall 40 and the rear wall 30. A pair of support portions 50 are provided for each storage portion 2 and connect the front wall 40 and the rear wall 30. That is, the support part 50 is continuous with the front wall 40 and the rear wall 30. The support portion 50 extends in the front-rear direction, and a placement portion 80 is installed between the pair of support portions 50 near the rear wall 30. The mounting portion 80 is curved and formed in an arc shape. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a mounting portion 40 c having the same shape as the mounting portion 80 protrudes from the inner side surface 40 b of the front wall 40. The body portion 10 of the electrolytic capacitor 3 is placed on the placement portion 40 c and the placement portion 80.

Further, as shown in FIG. 1, two first engaging pieces 60 are erected from one supporting portion 50 of the pair of supporting portions 50, and second engaging pieces 70 are provided from the other supporting portion 50. One is erected. The first engagement piece 60 and the second engagement piece 70 are configured to be elastically deformable, and are curved so that the body portion 10 side is concave.

The single accommodating portion 2 includes a rear wall 30, a front wall 40, a placement portion 40 c, a support portion 50, a first engagement piece 60, a second engagement piece 70, and a placement portion 80. As shown in FIG. 3, the longitudinal dimension A of the accommodating portion 2 (the dimension of the accommodating portion 2 in the protruding direction of the lead 20) is set by the distance between the inner side surface 40 b of the front wall 40 and the inner side surface 30 a of the rear wall 30. Has been. Since the longitudinal dimension A of the housing part 2 is set larger than the longitudinal dimension B of the body part 10 (the dimension of the body part 10 in the protruding direction of the lead 20), the space between the body part 10 and the housing part 2 is set. There is a gap.

As shown in FIG. 2, the rear wall 30 is provided with a pressing portion 31 for pressing the electrolytic capacitor 3 accommodated in the accommodating portion 2 against the front wall 40. The pressing portion 31 is based on the tip portion 31a. It extends obliquely forward so as to be positioned below the end 31b. The pressing portion 31 is elastically deformable so as to be deformed toward the rear wall 30 when an urging force is applied from above. In a state where the electrolytic capacitor 3 is not accommodated, the distance t1 from the front end portion 31a of the pressing portion 31 to the front wall 40 is the distance from the front end portion 10a of the body portion 10 to the rear end portion 10b of the body portion 10 (body portion). 10 is shorter than the longitudinal dimension B). Although there is a gap between the body portion 10 and the housing portion 2, as shown in FIG. 3, in the state where the electrolytic capacitor 3 is housed in the housing portion 2, the pressing portion 31 is connected to the body portion 10. The body portion 10 is pressed toward the front wall 40 while being in contact with the edge portion of the rear end portion 10b. Therefore, the front end portion 10 a of the body portion 10 is pressed against the inner side surface 40 b of the front wall 40.

The front wall 40 is provided so as to face the rear wall 30, and the front wall 40 is located on the protruding side of the lead 20. The front wall 40 is formed with restriction grooves 41 for restricting the pair of leads 20 at positions corresponding to the respective accommodating portions 2 on the upper surface 40a.

The restriction groove 41 extends in the front-rear direction, and the width of the restriction groove 41 is slightly larger than the diameter of the lead 20. The distance (pitch) between the pair of restriction grooves 41 is formed to be the same as the distance (pitch) between the pair of leads 20. A part of the lead 20 is disposed in the regulation groove 41.

A plurality of connecting arm portions 4 are provided on the front surface of the front wall 40. As shown in FIG. 3, the connecting arm portion 4 extends forward. As shown in FIG. 1, the support bar 5 is connected to the front wall 40 via the connecting arm portion 4. The support bar 5 is provided in parallel with the front wall 40 at a position facing the lower part of the front wall 40, and the support bar 5 is integrally formed with a copper bar 6 as an electrode terminal by insert molding. A base end 6 a of the bar 6 is embedded in the support bar 5.

The copper bar 6 is bent at a substantially right angle at the base end portion 6a and extends upward. The leading end 6 b of the copper bar 6 is bent toward the lead 20, and a protruding portion toward the lead 20 is formed at the leading end 6 b of the copper bar 6. Two copper bars 6 are arranged so as to correspond to each accommodating portion 2. As shown in FIG. 3, the tip portion 6 b of the copper bar 6 faces the lead 20. The copper bar 6 positioned on the protruding side of the lead 20 is fixed so as to be electrically connected to the lead 20 by resistance welding. The lead 20 is fixed to the copper bar 6 while being bent backward.

When assembling the electronic device, when the electrolytic capacitor 3 is accommodated in the accommodating portion 2 of the resin case 1, the restriction groove 41 extending toward the copper bar 6 is disposed when the lead 20 is placed in the restriction groove 41 and placed in the accommodation position. Guides the lead 20, and the lead 20 is automatically positioned at a position facing the copper bar 6. Further, the electrolytic capacitor 3 is pressed against the inner side surface 40 b of the front wall 40 by the pressing portion 31. As shown in FIG. 3, when the electrolytic capacitor 3 is accommodated in the accommodating portion 2, the distal end side of the lead 20 is pressed backward by the copper bar 6, so that the distal end portion of the lead 20 from the proximal end portion 20 a of the lead 20. The horizontal component distance S1 up to 20b is shorter than the horizontal component distance S2 from the proximal end portion 20a of the lead 20 to the distal end portion 20b of the lead 20 before the electrolytic capacitor 3 is accommodated. The “distance of the horizontal component from the proximal end portion 20a of the lead 20 to the distal end portion 20b of the lead 20” means the distance from the virtual plane C perpendicular to the proximal end portion 20a of the lead 20 to the distal end portion of the lead 20. That means. And the lead 20 will be in the state which the front end side (upper side) bent from the bending part 20c back. More specifically, the lead 20 is bent so that the bending angle θ at the bending portion 20c is at least 90 degrees or less. Next, the lead 20 is fixed to the tip portion 6b of the copper bar 6 by resistance welding.

When the electrolytic capacitor 3 is accommodated in the accommodating portion 2, the distances S <b> 1 and S <b> 2 are the electrolytic capacitor 3 when designing with tolerances so that the tip portion 6 b of the copper bar 6 presses the lead 20 backward. Regardless of the length, the inner side surface 40b of the front wall 40 is determined as the reference plane. Therefore, it is not necessary to take into account the dimensional tolerance of the electrolytic capacitor 3 itself.

Next, the operation of the electronic device configured as described above will be described.
The electronic device that houses the electrolytic capacitor 3 is mounted on the vehicle in a state where the electrolytic capacitor 3 is housed in the housing portion 2. When the vehicle travels with the electronic device mounted, vibration is applied to the electronic device. The vibration applied to the electronic device is also transmitted to the electrolytic capacitor 3. Since the body portion 10 is pressed against the front wall 40 by the pressing portion 31, the electrolytic capacitor 3 has the body portion 10 and the rear wall 30. The vibration in the gap existing between the two is suppressed.

Further, when vibration is transmitted to the lead 20 through the copper bar 6, stress is generated in the lead 20. However, since the stress generated in the lead 20 is absorbed in the bent portion 20 c of the lead 20, it is suppressed that the stress is intensively applied to the base end portion 20 a of the lead 20.

In this embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.
(1) The pressing portion 31 presses the front end portion 10 a of the body portion 10 against the inner side surface 40 b of the front wall 40. Therefore, it is possible to reduce an error in the connection position where the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 are electrically connected to a preset position. Moreover, since it can suppress that the electrolytic capacitor 3 vibrates in the clearance gap which exists between the electrolytic capacitor 3 and the accommodating part 2, it is suppressed that a load is applied to the connection part of the lead | read | reed 20 and the copper bar 6, and fractures | ruptures. The Therefore, the reliability of the connection portion between the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 can be improved.

(2) The lead 20 has a bent portion 20c and is fixed to the copper bar 6 on the tip side from the bent portion 20c. Therefore, since the stress generated by the vibration of the lead 20 is absorbed by the bent portion 20c of the lead 20, the stress generated in the lead 20 is not concentrated on the base end portion 20a of the lead 20. Accordingly, the electrolytic capacitor 3 can be prevented from being damaged from the base end portion 20a, and the durability of the electronic device is improved as compared with the case where the lead 20 is connected to the copper bar 6 in a state of extending straight. be able to.

(3) The horizontal component distance S1 from the base end portion 20a of the lead 20 to the tip end portion of the lead 20 in a state where the electrolytic capacitor 3 is accommodated in the accommodating portion 2 is the lead 20 before the electrolytic capacitor 3 is accommodated. It is shorter than the distance S2 from the base end 20a to the tip 20b of the lead 20. Since the lead 20 is connected in a state of being pressed and bent by the copper bar 6, the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 can be connected in a state in which no force acts in a direction in which they are separated from each other. In addition, since the lead 20 is pressed against the copper bar 6 and is in a bent state, when the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 are electrically connected by resistance welding, the pair of resistance welding terminals is the lead 20. In the protruding direction, the lead 20 and the tip 6b of the copper bar 6 can be sandwiched and pressed. Therefore, even in an electronic device in which the distance between the leads 20 is small, resistance welding can be easily performed, and it is easy to continuously connect the leads 20 and the copper bar 6.

(4) A restriction groove 41 is formed on the upper surface 40 a of the front wall 40, and the restriction groove 41 extends toward the copper bar 6 so as to guide the lead 20 to the copper bar 6. Accordingly, when the lead 20 is placed in the accommodating position by being placed in the regulation groove 41, the lead 20 is automatically guided to the copper bar 6 and positioned at a position facing the copper bar 6, so that the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 are positioned. Can be easily connected.

(5) The lead 20 is electrically connected to the copper bar 6 by resistance welding. If the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 are electrically connected by resistance welding, the connection work time can be shortened compared to the case where the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 are electrically connected by soldering. In addition, since the welding time can be shortened, the thermal influence on the periphery of the connection portion can be suppressed, and the quality can be improved as compared with the case where the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 are electrically connected by soldering. Can do. Further, when the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 are electrically connected by discharge welding, a surge voltage is generated in the electrolytic capacitor 3 and the electrolytic capacitor 3 may be damaged. However, such a situation is avoided.

(6) The pressing portion 31 presses the edge portion of the rear end portion 10 b of the electrolytic capacitor 3. Therefore, there is no possibility that the operation of the explosion-proof valve of the electrolytic capacitor 3 will be hindered.
(7) The resin case 1 is used as a housing for accommodating the electrolytic capacitor 3. If the resin case 1 is used as the housing, an electrode terminal having a large cross-sectional area such as a copper bar 6 can be easily used instead of a wiring having a small cross-sectional area disposed on the printed board. Therefore, there is no problem even if a large current is passed through the electrolytic capacitor 3.

(8) The copper bar 6 is used as the electrode terminal. When a large current is passed through a wiring having a small cross-sectional area as disposed on a printed circuit board, excessive heat is generated in the conductive wire and the conductive wire itself is damaged. Since no damage is caused even when a current is passed, the width of the current value allowed by the electronic device can be increased.

(9) The housing portion 2 is provided with a first engagement piece 60 and a second engagement piece 70. Since the electrolytic capacitor 3 is engaged by the first engaging piece 60 and the second engaging piece 70 in a state where the electrolytic capacitor 3 is accommodated in the accommodating portion 2, the displacement of the electrolytic capacitor 3 is prevented. Can be suppressed.

The embodiment is not limited to the above, and may be embodied as follows, for example.
O Resistance welding may not be adopted as a measure for fixing the lead 20 and the copper bar 6. That is, since the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 need only be fixed in an electrically connected state, for example, the lead 20 and the copper bar 6 may be fixed by discharge welding, or the lead may be fixed by soldering. 20 and the copper bar 6 may be fixed.

○ The length and shape of the lead 20 may be changed. Since the lead 20 only needs to be electrically connected to the copper bar 6, the lead 20 may be extended or shortened as long as such a purpose can be achieved. Further, the diameter of the lead 20 may be increased or the diameter may be decreased.

O Instead of electrically connecting the lead 20 bent in an L shape to the copper bar 6, the lead 20 extending straight may be electrically connected to the copper bar 6. In this case, the lead 20 may be brought into electrical contact with the copper bar 6 so as to intersect.

The shape of the copper bar 6 used as an electrode terminal may be any shape as long as it can be connected to the lead 20. Therefore, for example, the cross-sectional shape of the copper bar 6 may be a circular shape instead of a flat shape.

The electronic component is not limited to the electrolytic capacitor 3 and may be applied to an electronic component having other leads such as an electrolytic capacitor. For example, a coil or a resistor may be used as the electronic component.

The material of the resin case 1 used as the housing is not particularly limited as long as it is an insulating material. For example, a ceramic case may be used.
O The size and shape of the housing part 2 may be changed according to the size and shape of the electronic component.

○ A plurality of accommodating portions 2 may not be provided in the resin case 1. That is, the number of the accommodating part 2 may be only one.
The pressing part 31 may have any shape as long as it can press the rear end part 10b of the body part 10. For example, the pressing portion 31 may be a protrusion having a semicircular side cross section or a protrusion having a rectangular side cross section.

The pressing part 31 may not be formed on the rear wall 30 as long as the rear end part 10b of the body part 10 can be pressed. For example, the pressing part 31 may have a shape extending from the support part 50. Further, when the pressing portion 31 has a shape extending from the support portion 50, the rear wall 30 may be omitted.

The position of the rear end portion 10b of the electrolytic capacitor 3 pressed by the pressing portion 31 may be any position as long as it is an edge portion of the rear end portion 10b. Therefore, for example, you may comprise so that the pressing part 31 may press the upper edge part of the rear-end part 10b.

○ The bending of the lead 20 is not particularly limited. The lead 20 only needs to be bent to such an extent that it can contribute to improving the durability of the electronic component, that is, to be able to bend and absorb stress when vibration is transmitted from the copper bar 6.

The position and shape of the restriction groove 41 may be changed according to the distance between the pair of leads 20 and the shape of the leads 20. Further, the restriction groove 41 may not be provided. When the restriction groove 41 is not provided, for example, an operator holds the lead 20 and positions the lead 20 so as to face the copper bar 6 and then electrically connects the lead 20 and the copper bar 6. Good.

O When the explosion-proof valve is not provided as an electronic component, the portion pressed by the pressing portion 31 does not need to press the edge of the electronic component on the side opposite to the protruding side of the lead 20. For example, you may press the center of the edge part on the opposite side to the protrusion side of the lead | read | reed 20 of an electronic component with the pressing part 31. FIG.
