Abstract
【解決手段】ドリル本体11と、同本体11の先端に取付けられる高硬度のチップ12とから成り、このチップ12は、幅寸法Wが本体径寸法Dよりも大きくて山形の刃部14を備え、壁体に底が広がった拡底穴を穿設できるように、幅方向中心線上に設けた切削点14aがドリル本体の軸心Xに対して左右片側にずれた偏心状態でドリル本体11に取付けた。このドリルを、予めあけた下穴に挿入して底面を切削することにより拡底穴を形成する。

Description
ドリルの基本構成は図15〜図19に示す従来ドリルと同じである。
第2実施形態は、拡底穴を穿設する他の方法を示す。トリルそのものの構成は第1実施形態と同じである。
第3実施形態は、チップ12の他の構成を示す。
(II) このチップ12を偏心状態でドリル本体11に取付ける点、
(III) 刃部14の両側縁部に側刃15,16をドリル本体外周側に突出する状態で設ける点、
(IV) この両側刃15,16の突出量が切削点14aの偏心によって異なる点
は第1実施形態と同じである。

Claims (8)
- ドリル本体の先端に、幅寸法が本体径寸法よりも大きい高硬度のチップを、チップ幅方向の中心線がドリル本体の軸心に対して左右片側にずれた偏心状態で取付けてなることを特徴とするドリル。
- ドリル本体に取付けられる基板部の先端に、山形でその頂点に切削点を備えた刃部を設けてチップを形成し、このチップを、上記切削点がドリル本体の軸心に対して左右片側にずれた偏心状態でドリル本体に取付けたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のドリル。
- チップの刃部の左右両側縁部に側刃を、ドリル本体の外周側に突出し、かつ、切削点の偏心によってこの突出量が異なる状態で設け、この左右両側側刃のうち、上記突出量が大きい側刃の高さ寸法を他方の側刃よりも小さく設定したことを特徴とする請求項2記載のドリル。
- 高さ寸法が小さい側刃の下側付根部分を円弧状に形成したことを特徴とする請求項3記載のドリル。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のドリルの外周に遊嵌状態で嵌め込まれる筒状に形成し、かつ、ドリルによって切削された穴の開口縁部を覆う頭部を設けたことを特徴とする穿孔用壁面保護部材。
- 壁体にストレートの下穴を切削した後、この下穴の底面を請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のドリルで切削することにより、穴底が広がった拡底穴を形成することを特徴とする穿孔方法。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のドリルによって壁体に所望深さのストレート穴を切削した後、引き続きドリル全体を外周側に振りながら切削することにより、穴底が広がった拡底穴を形成することを特徴とする穿孔方法。
- トリルに頭付き筒状の穿孔用壁面保護部材を遊嵌状態で嵌め込み、ドリルによって切削された穴の開口縁部をこの保護部材の頭部で覆った状態で拡底穴の切削を行うことを特徴とする請求項6または7記載の穿孔方法。
