Abstract
【解決手段】LNGを運搬するLNG運搬船に設けられたLNG貯蔵タンクの上部に設置される安全弁の調節方法において、LNG貯蔵タンクにLNGを船積する際と、LNG運搬船が運航する際における安全弁の開閉圧力値を異にし、運航する際の圧力値をより高くする。

Description
LNG貯藏タンクで発生した蒸発ガスをボイラーで燃焼させ、発生したスチームによって駆動するスチームタービン推進方式は推進効率が低いという問題点がある。
LNG運搬船用LNG貯蔵タンク(1)に蓄積された蒸発ガスは大量であるので、殆どが荷役ターミナルで高圧圧縮機(3a)により普通70-80気圧に圧縮されてから消費者に供給される。一方、LNG運搬船用LNG貯蔵タンク(1)に蓄積された蒸発ガスの一部は低圧圧縮機(3b)により普通8気圧前後に圧縮されてから再凝縮器(4)を経て再凝縮され、気化器(5)で再度気化されて消費者に供給されることもある。
図6に例示された、LNG運搬船のLNG貯蔵タンクの圧力上昇低減装置は、LNG運搬船のLNG貯蔵タンク(1)の上部の蒸発ガスを圧縮後、LNG貯蔵タンク(1)の下部のLNG内に噴射させるよう構成されている。

Claims (19)
- LNGを運搬するLNG運搬船に設けられたLNG貯蔵タンクの上部に設置される安全弁の調節方法において、上記LNG貯蔵タンクにLNGを船積する際と、上記LNG運搬船が運航する際における上記安全弁の開閉圧力値を異にし、上記の運航する際の圧力値がより高いということを特徴とする安全弁の開閉方法。
- 上記開閉圧力値は、上記のLNG貯蔵タンクで発生する蒸発ガスまたはLNGが外部に排出され、上記LNG貯蔵タンク内に積載されたLNGの量が減ってから上昇することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- 上記LNGを船積する際の開閉圧力値は0.25気圧以下で設定し、上記のLNG運搬船が運航する際の圧力値は0.25超過乃至2気圧設定することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- 上記LNG運搬船が運航する際の圧力値は0.25超過乃至0.7気圧で設定されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- LNG運搬船のLNG貯蔵タンク内のLNGレベル、LNG貯蔵タンクの温度、LNG貯蔵タンクの圧力、LNG運搬船のトリム(trim)及びLNG運搬船のリスト(list)を測定し、これら測定されたデータの処理及び演算をし、LNG貯蔵タンク内のLNG体積を計算しLNG貯蔵タンク内に積載されたLNGの体積を把握することを特徴とする、請求項2乃至4のいずれかに記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- 上記開閉方法は上記データを処理するデータ処理モジュールを含むことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- 上記データ処理モジュールでは最小自乗法、移動平均法または低帯域フィルターリング法を用いてデータを処理することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- 上記データ処理モジュールで処理されたデータを演算し、LNG貯蔵タンク内のLNG体積を計算するLNG体積モジュールを含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- 上記LNG貯蔵タンクから上記のLNG運搬船の燃料ガス推進手段に供給される燃料ガスの流量を測定し、初期LNG積載量と蒸発ガスの量を対比し、現在のLNG貯蔵タンク内のLNG体積を計算するとともに、上記の測定された燃料ガスの流量によって計算されたLNG体積を上記LNG体積計算モジュールのLNG体積に反映することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- LNG運搬船のLNG貯蔵タンクから燃料ガスを燃料ガス推進手段に供給する燃料供給ライン配管の途中に、計測範囲が異なる二つ以上のオリフィスを直列に配置し、流量に応じて適切な一つのオリフィスから出た測定値を選択し、LNG運搬船の燃料ガスの流量を計測し使われた流量を計算し、LNG貯蔵タンク内に積載されたLNGの体積を把握することを特徴とする、請求項2乃至4のいずれかに記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- LNG運搬船の燃料ガスの流量を計測する装置で、LNG運搬船のLNG貯蔵タンクから燃料ガスを燃料ガス推進手段に供給する燃料供給ライン配管の途中に計測範囲の異なる二つ以上のオリフィスを直列に配置することを特徴とする、LNG運搬船の差圧式燃料ガス流量計測装置が装着されたことを特徴とする、請求項2乃至4のいずれかに記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- LNGを運搬するLNG運搬船に設けられるLNG貯蔵タンクの上部に設置される安全弁において、上記LNG貯蔵タンクにLNGを船積する際、上記LNG運搬船が運航する際における上記の安全弁の開閉圧力値を異にし、上記開閉圧力値はLNGを船積する際によりLNG運搬船の運航の際がより高いことを特徴とする安全弁。
- 上記開閉圧力値は、上記のLNG貯蔵タンク内のLNG、またはそれから発生する蒸発ガスまたはLNGが外部へ排出され、上記LNG貯蔵タンク内に積載されたLNGの量が減ってから上昇することを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の安全弁。
- 上記LNGを船積する際の開閉圧力値は0.25気圧以下で設定し、上記LNG運搬船が運航する際の圧力値は0.25超過乃至2気圧で設定されることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の安全弁。
- 請求項12乃至14のいずれかに記載の安全弁が備えられたLNG貯蔵タンク。
- 請求項15に記載のLNG貯蔵タンクが設けられたLNG運搬船。
- 上記LNG運搬船用LNG貯蔵タンクはメンブレイン型タンクであることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- 上記LNG運搬船にはBOG処理手段が備えられていることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の安全弁の開閉方法。
- 上記LNG運搬船にはBOG処理手段が設けられておらず、上記LNG運搬船の途中にLNG貯蔵タンクからBOGの排出がないことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のLNG運搬船用安全弁の開閉方法。
